First, he/she should go to the hospital. Then he/she should get an X-ray. Finally, he/she should rest for a few days. Difficult points(難點):會按先后順序處理意外事故。Teaching steps(教學步驟)I. Review(復習及小結(jié))T:Do you know how to say the following health problems in English? If you care about others health, what can you say? How do you give advice in English?1. Could you tell me what happened in each picture?教學設計說明: 這個環(huán)節(jié)是聽前的準備,通過對圖片中人物經(jīng)歷的意外事故進行了解,使學生熟悉hurt ones back, have a nosebleed和cut ones finger,為下一步的聽力做準備,尤其是下面聽力里的材料有一個提前熟悉。T:Well done. Section B, 1b and 1cT:Now, boys and girls, you have learned something about how to deal with accidents. Now lets listen to a conversation. Try catch what happened and what the treatments are.教學設計說明: 這個環(huán)節(jié)是聽力練習。聽完第一遍做1b,通過聽來找問題;聽完第二遍做1c, 來選擇問題的正確處理方法;聽完第三篇,需要完成表格,寫出相應的問題或者處理方法。VSection B, 1dT: Now, class, for pair-work, I would like one student to be the nurse and the other the patient. Use the information in the textbook to role-play a conversation.T:Good. What accidents can happen when someone is playing sports? 教學設計說明: 這個環(huán)節(jié)是閱讀前的活動,自由談論環(huán)節(jié)是讀前的熱身活動,目的是為了調(diào)動學生已有的知識儲備和激發(fā)學生學習的興趣,讓學生學會預測某些運動過程中可能發(fā)生的意外。T:Very good. First reading: Work on 2bT: Today, I would like to teach you a reading skill: scanning. What does scanning mean? It means moving your eyes quickly down the page to find specific information. Find out the new words or expressions. Then try to look up each one in a dictionary and write down its meaning.教學設計說明: 本環(huán)節(jié)首先是學習策略的指導, 然后在老師的指導下練習運用scanning這種方法來找出不認識的單詞,并通過查閱字典的方式找到其意思.目的在于培養(yǎng)學生的自學能力和工具書使用能力。2. Second reading:Work on 2cT: Read the passage again. After each statement, choose/circle True, False or Dont know.教學設計說明:這一環(huán)節(jié)是閱讀中的信息判斷訓練。讓學生學會從文章支持自己觀點的句子。同時,也是對學生閱讀理解能力的訓練。3. Third reading: Work on 2d and 2eT: Read the article again and answer the questions in 2d. You have to underline the sentences which show you the answers. Can you translate the following phrases or sentences into English?教學設計說明:復習環(huán)節(jié)是本單元課時中的重點詞匯和句型,對健康問題和意外傷害的處理進行總結(jié)性的復習。首先通過復習身體各部分的表達對詞匯進行復習,然后指導學生寫出身體各部分可能產(chǎn)生的疾病和意外受害的英文表達。在詞匯復習的基礎(chǔ)上,重溫如何描述健康問題和意外傷害,同時對health problems和accidents作一個區(qū)分。然后要求學生針對不同的情況給出合適的建議。目的是溫故而知新。2.
