This lesson is focused on the topic of the Monkey King. There are 6 new words and phrases in the passage. At the same time, this passage enriches the knowledge of outside classroom and opens up the students mind.Students reading levelIts the first time for students of Grade 8 to get in touch with Chinese Traditional book Journey to the West. Most of the students may feel excited about the legend .Interest is the best teacher, but students dont have any skills to deal with the reading. Teacher should lead the students to finish the reading tasks.Reading strategyStudents will be able to apply the reading strategyskimming to find the main idea without reading every word.Students will be able to get general idea or specific information by using reading skills like skimming, scanning, and careful reading.Students will have a logicality training about reading.Teaching aimsI.Knowledge objects:1.Students will be able to understand and use the following key words and phrases: o, object, hide, tail, magic, stick, excite, Western,came, be interested in, be able to,etc.2.Students are expected to learn some knowledge about Monkey King.II.Ability objects:1. Students are expected to improve the abilities of telling a story.2. Students will be encouraged to use the methods of skimming, scanning, careful reading to improve reading abilities and can have a good understanding of the whole text.III.Moral objects:Students will be motivated to face the trouble bravely, and work hard to achieve their goals.Teaching ProceduresStep I Lead in T: (showing a mask of Sun Wukong and a magic stick)Hello,boys and girls. We have also known that people all over the world love the Monkey King, Its because he fights the bad people and helps the weak, he never gives up!環(huán)節(jié)說(shuō)明:本環(huán)節(jié)進(jìn)行這堂課學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的總結(jié)并很自然的引出德育教育的內(nèi)容。Step VI Homework運(yùn)用下列短語(yǔ)編寫一個(gè)60字左右美猴王的小故事1.be able to; 2.turninto; 3.sothat; 4.came out; 5.become interested in; 6.keep doing sth環(huán)節(jié)說(shuō)明:這6個(gè)短語(yǔ),都是本課中出現(xiàn)的重難點(diǎn)短語(yǔ),學(xué)生通過(guò)運(yùn)用來(lái)鞏固,并進(jìn)行一個(gè)閱讀后的寫作訓(xùn)練。教學(xué)反思英語(yǔ)閱讀在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中起著舉足輕重的作用,這幾年的初中畢業(yè)英語(yǔ)試題中,閱讀題占總分的55,閱讀亦為英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)輸入的重要手段。這堂閱讀課的設(shè)計(jì)我是基于如下幾點(diǎn)的考慮:一 選好合適的閱讀材料1長(zhǎng)短適中。課堂教學(xué)必須要考慮時(shí)間。文章太長(zhǎng),當(dāng)堂課不能完成,課堂任務(wù)單調(diào),學(xué)生容易倦怠。2難易適中。要結(jié)合學(xué)生的實(shí)際情況,太容易沒(méi)有意義,太難會(huì)挫傷學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的銳氣和積極性。3可閱讀性。文章要貼近現(xiàn)實(shí),符合學(xué)生的愛好。 要有趣味性、科學(xué)性、知識(shí)性、滿足學(xué)生的好奇心。二精心設(shè)計(jì)課堂提問(wèn),設(shè)疑啟智、營(yíng)造高效的課堂氛圍課堂提問(wèn)是一種最直接的師生雙邊活動(dòng),英語(yǔ)閱讀教學(xué)中每一教學(xué)步驟應(yīng)設(shè)置合理的信息溝,根據(jù)一定的語(yǔ)言材料,設(shè)計(jì)適量靈活性較大的思考題,或讓學(xué)生從同一來(lái)源的材料或信息中探求不同的答案,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生積極求異的思維能力。本堂課的閱讀設(shè)計(jì)中,文章內(nèi)容教學(xué)和閱讀技巧教學(xué)兩條線同時(shí)推進(jìn),文章內(nèi)容由深入淺層層遞進(jìn)的滲透在閱
