After greeting (Hi, Hello), review the dialogue in the last lesson briefly.Step 2. Lead in. Ask the Ss the questions in Chinese:1. What do Chinese say when they meet each other?2. Canadians dont ask the questions such as “Have you had your meal?” or “Where are you going?”. Do you know what they say expect “Hi” or “Hello”Step 3. New lesson1. Presentation. Explain that Canadians greet each other by saying “How are you?” and “Nice to meet you”. Explain the meaning of the expressions. Encourage the Ss to repeat a few times.2. Listen and say.
