1、初中英語連詞講解 一、概念 連接詞與詞、短語與短語、句子與句子的詞叫連詞。例如： It is neither too cold nor too hot in spring. (neithernor連接兩個詞) You can read either in the morning or in the afternoon. (eitheror連接兩個短語) Hu Lan was late yesterday because she woke up too late. (because連接兩個句子) 二、連詞的種類 從連詞本身的含義及其所連接的成分的性質(zhì)來看，可分為兩類：并列連詞和從屬連詞。 （一）

2、并列連詞，用來連接有并列關(guān)系的詞、短語或分句的連詞是并列連詞；并列連詞連接分句構(gòu)成并列句。 1、常用來連接同類性質(zhì)的詞與詞、短語與短語的并列連詞有and, or ,neithernor,eitheror, not onlybut also, bothand. and 和，并且 My uncle lives and works in Shanghai. Hes big and tall. or 或（費否定句中），和（否定句中） Are you a teacher or a student? You can take some food or some money. I dont like rea

3、ding or writing. neithernor 既不也不，要么要么 eitheror 或者或者 not onlybut also 不僅而且 bothand 既又 You can come to see me either on Sunday or on Saturday. I dont like its color, it is either too dark or too light. The boy is both tall and fat. My daughter can not only sing but also dance. 注意：bothand連接并列主語時，謂語動詞用復(fù)

4、數(shù)；neithernor,eitheror, not onlybut also連接并列主語時謂語動詞和鄰近主語保持一致。 2、常用來連接并列分句構(gòu)成并列句的連詞有and, or, but,so or 否則，相當(dāng)于一個否定條件句。 Hurry up, or youll be late. (If you dont hurry up, youll be late.) and 這樣的話，就會，相當(dāng)于一個肯定條件句。 Study hard, and you can get good grades. (If you study hard, you can get good grades.) however

(二)從屬連詞：引導(dǎo)從句的連詞叫做從屬連詞，分為連接代詞和連接副詞兩種。 1、引導(dǎo)賓語從句的有that, when, where, who, why, what, if, whether that 用于引導(dǎo)由陳述句轉(zhuǎn)換過來的賓語從句，可以省去。如： She s

6、ays that she likes watching TV very much. when,where,who, why, what等連接由特殊疑問句轉(zhuǎn)換過來的賓語從句。如： Do you know when the train arrives? Can you tell me where you come from? 連接由一般疑問句轉(zhuǎn)換過來的賓語從句。如： if, whether They are wondering if they can get the money back. She asked the librarian whether she had to pay for the

7、 lost book. 注意：下列幾種情況下不能使用if來引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。 介詞后的賓語從句不能使用if 引導(dǎo)。 Are you interested whether she will come here? 后跟or not 時，不能使用if 引導(dǎo)。 Im not sure whether or not the shop is open. 當(dāng)后跟動詞不定式時，不能使用if引導(dǎo)。 Do you know whether to go to the Great Wall tomorrow? 2、引導(dǎo)狀語從句的連詞有when, until, after, before, as soon as, sin

8、ce, for, although, if, because, so that, as if, sothat, while等。 引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句的連詞有： when, while, until, after, before, as soon as(一就)，since(自從)，once(一旦) when和while的區(qū)別 A：when既指時間點，也可指一段時間，while只指一段時間，因此when引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句中的動詞可以是終止性動詞，也可以是延續(xù)性動詞，而while從句中的動詞必須是延續(xù)性動詞。 B：when 說明從句的動作和主句的動作可以是同時，也可以是先后發(fā)生；while 則強調(diào)主句的

9、動作在從句動作的發(fā)生的過程中或主從句兩個動作同時發(fā)生。 C:由when引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句，主句用過去進行時，從句應(yīng)用一般過去時；如果從句和主句的動作同時發(fā)生，兩句都用過去進行時的時候，多用while引導(dǎo)。 When the teacher came in, we were talking.
