1、what do you have to do?廣州市第五中學張志梅教材依據(jù)人民教育出版社九年義務(wù)教育三年制初級中學教科書第二冊第十八單元第七十二課。教學內(nèi)容在課文內(nèi)容的基礎(chǔ)上,擴充了教學內(nèi)容的深度和難度,圍繞“看醫(yī)生”這一中心話題組織學生開展活動。.teaching designmy students are about 12 or 13 years of age.they have the advantage of being great mimics.they are often energetic and usually prepared to enjoy the activities

2、the teacher has prepared for them.on the other hand,they will not respond well to an activity that they perceive as childish,or well below their intellectual level.they easily lose confidence in face of difficulties.it is not an easy job to focus their attentions.therefore the teaching activities sh

3、ould be within their abilities and developmental stage but at the same time sufficiently stimulate for them to feel satisfied with their work.the theoretical basis guiding this teaching design is taskbased teaching.by full use of a multimedia computer,i set up varied scenes of life to involve my stu

4、dents in lively and interesting situations and activate the teaching content.i try to invent something new to enliven every class for my students,like jokes,songs,stories,games and so on.i assign students different tasks at different stages so they can acquire and learn english by meaningful and com

5、municative activities.in the long run,i hope what i teach today will have something to do with promoting students consciousness of being the subjects of life,improving their individual character and enhancing their allround qualities.teaching aims1.linguistic:(1) words and expressionsgardener,feel t

6、ired,eat too much,look over,problem,take exercise,instead of,rest(2) grammarthe use of the complex sentencefor example:if i work in the garden,i have to sit down and rest every five minutes.2.competent:(1)to understand the text thoroughly.(2)to improve the students abilities of listening,speaking,re

7、ading and writing.(3)to use english language creatively.(4)to develop a sense of rhythm,to enjoy the music,to give the students a chance to relax.(5)to encourage cooperation between the children.(6)to use a video camera to film dialogues.(7)to develop an awareness of a healthy lifestyle.3.strategic:

8、learning-on-one's-own,learning-in-cooperation,learning-by-creation.in class:the whole class stand in a big circle.the movements keep the children excited and interested.they really enjoy learning singing and acting songs.it is surprising they absorb unconsciously very much.in class:the students

9、are very excited to see the lively pictures and hear the beautiful music.they are eager to answer the teacher's questions.meanwhile,the pictures and music give them an open mind to guess and imagine.it is an invaluable way of introducing and revising vocabulary,structures and functions.picture o

19、ange the sentences by using “instead” or “instead of” (attachment 1). in class:the most common type of task accompanying a reading text is comprehension questions.in this class,pictures and words are shown as students read.the comprehension questions are designed from easy to difficult,and the

20、story is carried on from the whole to the details,and then to the whole again.i can see that students enjoy the questions very much.in class:situation:suppose you are a doctor.a patient(病人) feels tired and you are sure he has a problem,look over the people and give him your advice(建議).you may begin:

21、doctor:what's your trouble?/ what's your problem?/ what's the trouble with you?/ what's wrong with you?patient:i don't feel well./ i have a headache /cough/cold/ my hand/back/leg is hurtdoctor:take this medicine./ drink more water./ have a good restthe students find joy and happi

22、ness by performance and watching.they choose the kindest doctor,the funniest patient and the best english speaker.the teacher gives them small presents as encouragement.the class atmosphere has reached high tide.the following is one of the students vivid dialogue.student 1:what can i do for you,litt
