1、牛津高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)單元 : Unit 2 Growing Pains板塊 : Welcome to the unitThoughts on the design:本節(jié)課教學(xué)是以引發(fā)學(xué)生興趣為基礎(chǔ),為導(dǎo)入 Reading 的主題積累充足的背景知識(shí)和信息為手段,以調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生主觀能動(dòng)性和激發(fā)學(xué)生發(fā)散思維為目的,以說(shuō)、聽(tīng)、討論為主的導(dǎo)入課。 (此句不通)由于是單元的第一課時(shí),所以要兼顧輸入的“層次性”和“合理性”。 “層次性” 是指導(dǎo)入過(guò)程循序漸進(jìn),內(nèi)容由淺入深,然后要求學(xué)生有一定的反饋輸出,給予適當(dāng)?shù)奶崾?,以防止出現(xiàn)無(wú)言以對(duì)的冷場(chǎng)。 “合理性”是指在整個(gè)過(guò)程中,除了發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主觀參與以外,要在學(xué)生能
2、力范圍內(nèi)加以實(shí)踐,并使學(xué)生在激發(fā)興趣、接受知識(shí)、交流思想的同時(shí),升華學(xué)生對(duì)人生的領(lǐng)悟和正確認(rèn)識(shí)。Teaching aims: First students will be shown several pictures and video about growing pains to activate their echo to the growing pains, that could activate the students interest in the topic ; After they answer several questions, they will be asked to
3、find out the reasons of growing pains. Through this, the students will be able to strengthen their abilities to find and solve problems; Given some key words and phrases, students are required to imagine a situation according to four pictures, and then the students can improve their spoken language
4、and imagination ; After a series of questions about their parents, the students will be able to analyze problems and think of questions in new ways. Also, this will contribute to their emotional experiences ; Through listening, the students can practice their listening ability and help them get a hi
5、gh level of understanding growing pains.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Lead-in1. Show pictures of growing pains and lead in:Pictures about what often happens in the growth of teenagers 2. Play a short video clip to arouse the students echo to growing pains and activate their interest.說(shuō)明: 對(duì)應(yīng)的 PPT 從第一頁(yè)到第五
6、頁(yè)。首先用英文介紹一下幾張圖片(PPT3) ,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說(shuō)出"growing pains "的主題(PPT4),然后用一個(gè)"home alone”的電影剪輯(PPT 5點(diǎn)擊按鈕來(lái)調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生對(duì)主題的興趣,從而得到學(xué)生對(duì)他們自己成長(zhǎng)時(shí)的煩惱的一個(gè)共鳴,進(jìn)而為下一步的討論作了鋪墊,也是為第二課時(shí)的reading 作個(gè)鋪墊。Step 2 DiscussionGive students three questions related to the video clip to organize them to discuss the subtopics to further ma
7、in topic. (ask several students to give a feedback)1. Do your parents sometimes interfere in your life and make decisions for you? And How?2. Will you talk to your parents when you have a problem?3. Do your parents trust you?And then show the possible growing pains to better students ' understan
8、ding of growing pains, and then ask students to find out main reasons of growing pains.Why do these happen more often than not?Generation gap means there are great differences between the younger generations and the elders.It occurs when older and younger people do not understand each other because
9、of their different experiences, opinions, habits and behavior . Especially as one gets older, she or he isn t always understood by the elders, because of what she or he does, says or wears. So she or he will often have trouble or pains during their growth.說(shuō)明:設(shè)計(jì)PPT從6-8。通過(guò)上面的電影剪輯,學(xué)生會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)父母與孩子之間存在的誤解,進(jìn) 而
10、產(chǎn)生一些煩惱,通過(guò)學(xué)生的討論(PPT 6)把這些煩惱結(jié)合自身體驗(yàn)簡(jiǎn)單羅列,然后教師給出主要的"growing pains”,通過(guò)一個(gè)圖表形式展現(xiàn)(PPT 7)。然后,讓學(xué)生分析這些現(xiàn)象 所產(chǎn)生的原因,引導(dǎo)其得出“代溝”的答案,然后對(duì)代溝進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單解釋,并分析產(chǎn)生的條件,使學(xué)生對(duì)問(wèn)題產(chǎn)生的原因有個(gè)初步概念,也是為后面如何解決代溝問(wèn)題作個(gè)伏筆。Step 3 Situational Imagination1. According to the 4 pictures in the textbook, students are required to create a situation to

13、to help them.說(shuō)明:對(duì)應(yīng)的PPT從9-10。從上面了解了"growing pains ”的主要原因后,進(jìn)而對(duì)“growingpains”的出現(xiàn)情況通過(guò)課文的圖片進(jìn)行情景創(chuàng)作,通過(guò)這個(gè)過(guò)程培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的想象力和 提高學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力,也是對(duì)剛才第二步驟的一個(gè)加深過(guò)程,讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)如何表達(dá)自己的煩惱。在黑板上要把上面的提示詞寫(xiě)上,配合屏幕來(lái)做這個(gè)" group work."。一 共四個(gè)小組,每組抽簽決定一張圖片,進(jìn)行創(chuàng)作,對(duì)創(chuàng)作較好的給予獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。Step 4 Further DiscussionAsk the students to further discus

If so, what is the best way to solve the problem?說(shuō)明:對(duì)應(yīng)的PPT從11-17。在進(jìn)行了上面的活動(dòng)后,學(xué)生對(duì)自己的 growing pains進(jìn)行了 描述,那么就要想辦法解決問(wèn)題,所以在這個(gè)步驟中討論如何解決上文中提到的根本原 因“代溝”,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生討論 PPT12-16。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從父母親的角度去思考,如何" NARROWTHE GAP”。請(qǐng)幾個(gè)小組反饋一下,再用PPT1
