2、oon?Questions新課講解How many ways can you think of to use wheels?新課講解Language point 1This is my report on transportation.這是我關(guān)于交通的報告。 本句中的on意為“關(guān)于”。 on與about作介詞時,都意為“關(guān)于”,但用法不同。on用于嚴肅的或?qū)W術(shù)性的內(nèi)容,較為正式。about表示內(nèi)容較普通,不太正式。e.g. This book is on science.這本書是關(guān)于科學方面的。 Its a story about Lei Feng.那是一個關(guān)于雷鋒的故事。新課講解Langua

3、ge point 2Everything seems to have wheels, engines or wings.一切似乎有車輪,發(fā)動機或翅膀。seem意為“似乎;好像”。 seem 后接動詞不定式,構(gòu)成 seem to do sth.結(jié)構(gòu),意為“似乎/好像要做某事”。e.g. The math problem seems to be difficult. 那道數(shù)學題好像很難。新課講解Language point 3Then steam was able to power boats and cars.蒸汽能夠驅(qū)動船和汽車。 be able to意為“能;會;能夠”,后接動詞原形?!颈嫖?/p>

4、】be able to,canbe able to強調(diào)具體事件中有能力,指“經(jīng)過努力而成功地做某事”,可用于各種時態(tài)。can只是一般性的能力,指“有能力做某事”,只用于一般現(xiàn)在時和一般過去時兩種時態(tài)。e.g. He will be able to drive next year.明年他就能開車了。 She can sing the song in English.她能用英語唱這首歌。新課講解Language point 4Boats have been around for thousands of years. 船已經(jīng)存在數(shù)千年了。“for+ 一段時間”表示動作從過去開始一直持續(xù)到現(xiàn)在,常用

5、于現(xiàn)在完成時的句子中。 現(xiàn)在完成時的句子結(jié)構(gòu)為“主語+have/has+過去分詞+其他”。e.g. The movie has been on for ten minutes. 電影已經(jīng)開始十分鐘了。新課講解thousands of 意為“成千上萬的,數(shù)以千計的”。當用hundred,thousand,million,billion等詞表示一個不具體的數(shù)字時,這些詞用復數(shù)形式,而且常與介詞of 連用來修飾名詞。e.g.Thousands of visitors come to Beijing during May Day holidays every year.每年五一假期成千上萬名游客來北京
