2、sityby Recruiting Talented People , to ensure that the chair professor undertake his/her duties successfully, and to guarantee the legitimate rights and interests of both parties, the two parties have reached the following agreements in accordance with The Teacher's Law of the People ' s Rep

3、ublic of China and Rules and Regulations for Employing Chair Professors at SCUT.第一條 聘期Article I. Employment Terms甲方聘任乙方為我校講座教授,崗位聘期為年.聘期自年月日至年月日.聘任期滿,聘任合同自動解除.Party A employs Party B as chair professor at SCUT for three years starting from(date) of(month),(year) to(date) of(month),(year). Upon the a

4、greement expiration, the contract is automatically terminated.第二條乙方在聘期內(nèi)的工作任務(wù)Article II. Duties and Tasks of Party B1.教學(xué)任務(wù)包括承擔(dān)核心課程的講授任務(wù),開設(shè)本學(xué)科前沿領(lǐng)域課程或講座等：1. Teaching which includes teaching core and frontier courses in the related fields,and lectures and presentations.2.科研任務(wù)包括以甲方為第一作者單位,并以第一作者或通訊作者身份發(fā)表

5、SCI收錄論文,或以甲方教師名義出版論著,以甲方為依托單位主持或參與科研工程等：2. Scientific research which includes SCI journal papers with Party A as the firstauthor ' s affiliation or the contact author' s affiliation; or books with the authors affiliation to Party A; or research projects headed by Party B or Party B' spar

6、ticipation with Party A as his/her affiliation.3.學(xué)科建設(shè)任務(wù)包括協(xié)助甲方相關(guān)學(xué)科建設(shè),對學(xué)科開展方向和研究重點提供重要建議,擴大甲方相關(guān)學(xué)科的國際影響力：3. Discipline Construction which includes assisting Party A in related discipline construction, putting forward suggestions on discipline development and on researchpriorities, and helping Party A t

7、o enhance its international influence and status inthe related disciplines.4.人才培養(yǎng)任務(wù)組建或參與組建科研團隊,聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)博士、碩士研究生,指導(dǎo)博士后研究人員、青年教師,互派高級訪問學(xué)者等：4. Personnel cultivation which includes setting up or helping setting up scientificresearch teams, joint-supervising PhD candidates and MA/MSC candidates, supervisingp

8、ostdoctoral researchers and young teachers, and helping with organizing exchangingvisiting scholars.5.國際交流合作包括促進甲方與國外科研機構(gòu)或企業(yè)在科研工程合作、學(xué)術(shù)互訪、學(xué)生聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)等方面的合作,邀請知名外國專家來校訪問等：5. International communications and cooperation which includes promoting cooperationbetween Party A and internationalresearch institutes

9、 and enterprises on scientificandresearch projects, academic visits and joint-cultivation of students, and invitingrenowned foreign experts to SCUT).第三條權(quán)利和義務(wù)Article III. Rights and Obligations1、甲方權(quán)利1. Rights of Party A甲方根據(jù)學(xué)校的有關(guān)規(guī)定,對乙方進行治理；甲方依照合同約定的工作目標(biāo)及任務(wù),對乙方進行考核.Party A is entitled to supervise Part

10、y B in accordance with relevant University rules and regulations, to assess Party B' s performance on the basis of the contract.2、甲方義務(wù)2. Obligations of Party A1 .依法維護乙方應(yīng)享有的各項權(quán)利.A. To guarantee relevant rights of Party B in line with the contract.2.為乙方提供的工作和生活條件：B. To provide Party B with the fol

11、lowing working and living conditions:(1)乙方來校工作期間,甲方為乙方提供講座教授周轉(zhuǎn)公寓,入住期間發(fā)生的水電煤氣費等由乙方自行繳納,學(xué)校按專家公寓房租標(biāo)準(zhǔn)收取租金；a. To provide Party B with appropriate apartment with standard school rent. Party B needs to pay for the rent according to the standard of SCUT, as well as the utility fees (including water, electri

12、city, and gas, etc.).(2)甲方為乙方在聘期內(nèi)購置一份保額拾萬左右的國內(nèi)意外傷害商業(yè)保險；b. To purchase accident insurance of 100,000 RMB for Party B.(3)在聘期內(nèi),甲方根據(jù)講座教授工作需要提供科研活動經(jīng)費貳拾萬元(主要用于國際差旅費).c. To provide Party B with scientific research fund of 200,000 RMB(which includes travel expenses during the employment.3、乙方權(quán)利3. Rights of P

13、arty B1 .甲方根據(jù)乙方實際來校工作時間附護照出入境記錄及來校機票復(fù)印件,按人民幣萬元/月稅前的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)計算薪酬.A. Party A shall pay Party B pre-tax salary of 40,000 RMB per month in accordance with his/her actual stay at SCUT.2.享受甲方為其提供的工作和生活條件.B. Party B has the right to enjoy work and living facilities provided by Party A.4、乙方義務(wù)4. Obligations of Par

14、ty B1 .認(rèn)真遵守國家法律、法規(guī)和甲方的各項規(guī)章制度.A. To abide by the laws and regulations of the People' s Republic of China and thoseof Party A.2.聘期內(nèi)保證每年在甲方講座教授崗位上工作時間2個月以上.B. To undertake to spend no less than two months each year at SCUT as chair professorduring the employment.3.全面履行崗位責(zé)任,完成崗位的工作目標(biāo)及任務(wù)；聘期結(jié)束時乙方須按要求向

15、甲方提交聘期 考核表；接受甲方的監(jiān)督、考核及治理.C. To fully complete the duties and tasks. Upon the expiration of the contract, PartyB is requested to submit an assessment form to Party A, and to be assessed accordingly.4.乙方在聘期內(nèi)講座教授崗位上所取得的教學(xué)、科研等成果均屬職務(wù)成果,其發(fā)表有關(guān)論文、著作或申報有關(guān)獎勵、專利和科研工程及經(jīng)費等,均須同時署乙方及甲方名即必須同時署作者及作者單位,作者單位署甲方名.D. 16、rty B ' s teaching and scientific achievements during the employment are regardedas part of on-duty achievements. Accordingly, his/her published academic papers, books or awards, patents, research projects and funds must bear the names of both Party B and Party A. In other words, they must bear

17、the names of the author and his/her affiliationto Party A.第四條 考核Article IV. Assessment1 .甲方根據(jù)聘任合同崗位目標(biāo)和工作任務(wù)對乙方進行聘期考核,乙方須按要求向甲方提交考核 材料,考核結(jié)果作為其績效評估的主要依據(jù).2 . Party A is entitled to organize final assessment on Party B in accordance with theduties and tasks stipulated in the contract. It is Party B'

18、s obligation to submitassessment materials and documents to Party A. The results of the assessment shall be regarded as the main basis of Party B' s performance.3 .聘期考核合格,經(jīng)個人提出申請,學(xué)校同意,可續(xù)聘講座教授；考核不合格者,不予續(xù)聘.4 . The contract may be renewed upon Party B' s request and at Party A' s consent if

19、 Party B succeeds in the final assessment at the end of his/her employment. Those who have failed in the final assessment are not eligible to renew their contracts.第五條 合同的變更與解除Article V. Alternation and Termination of the Contract1 .乙方在聘期內(nèi)如不能履行本合同所規(guī)定的責(zé)任,考核不合格或有違法違紀(jì)行為,甲方有權(quán)予 以解聘,終止本合同.1. Party A is en

20、titled to sack Party B and terminate the contract should PartyB failedto carry out the duties and obligations speculated in the contract, or failed in the assessment, or is involved in any criminal activities.2. 乙方在聘期內(nèi)因特殊原因提出辭聘的,需提前三個月向甲方提出申請,經(jīng)甲方同意前方可辭 聘,并視具體情況承擔(dān)相應(yīng)的違約責(zé)任.3. Party B must submit writte

21、n notice to Party A three months in advance if he/she wishes to terminate the contract due to events beyond his/her control. Party B cannot terminatethe contract without Party As consent. Party B is liable to breach penalties.3.乙方在聘期內(nèi)因考核不合格或因特殊原因提出辭聘的,甲方視具體情況要求乙方將撥發(fā)的科 研活動經(jīng)費退還甲方.4. Party A is entitle

22、d to demand that Party B return the scientific research fund should Party B asked to resign due to his/her failure in the assessment or due to events beyond his/her control.5. 聘任期間如發(fā)生雙方無法預(yù)見、無法防范而致使合同無法正常履行的事由,需要變更或解除 合同的,聘任雙方應(yīng)根據(jù)國家的有關(guān)法律妥善處理.6. Should there be any unpredictable or unavoidable events which prevent the contractfrom full implementation, the concerned parties should handle the problem in accordance with relevant state laws and regulations.第六條 附那么Article VI. Appendix1 .本合同一式三份,甲方、乙方以及乙方所聘學(xué)院各持一份.本合同于簽字蓋章之日起生效.每份合同均用中文和英文寫成,兩種文字版本的合同于雙方當(dāng)事人
