Ill prepare to say this unit from four parts.On teaching materials.On teaching methods.On teaching procedures.Layout on the blackboard.Part one An

2、ylysis of the Teaching Material (教材分析)一、 STATUS AND FUNCTION (教學(xué)內(nèi)容、在教材中的地位)1. this is an important unit in Book one. From this unit, it starts asking the ss to grasp how to invite sb to sw. To attain “four skill” request of listening, reading , speaking and writing. To start listening “Days of the w

3、eek” and tell the ss to remember the new words. Therefore this unit is in the important position of the teaching material.本課在教材中的地位不可忽視,起到承上啟下的作用。在這個(gè)單元,要求學(xué)生掌握與別人溝通交流的技巧,如何邀請別人去某地 “Would you like to go to ?”,“Lets go.” “Thats a good idea”; 掌握聽、說、讀、寫、用就是學(xué)習(xí)的過程。為學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)以后的內(nèi)容打下堅(jiān)實(shí)的心理、方法和知識(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。這個(gè)話題跟我們的日常生活細(xì)細(xì)相

4、關(guān),所以能很好地調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣,也有利于提高他們的英語口語。2. This unit is the first one of Module 6. so if the ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the ss learn the rest of this Module 6.3. Such a topic is related to our daily life. So it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also he

5、lpful to improve their spoken English.二、 ANALYSIS OF THE STUDENTS(學(xué)情分析)The Ss have learned English for about two months so far. They can understand some words and some simple sentences. The Ss have taken a great interest in English now.三、 TEACHING AIMS AND DEMANDS(教學(xué)目標(biāo)和要求)According to the New Curric

6、ulum and the Syllabus, I think the teaching aims are the following:1.Knowledge objects (知識(shí)目標(biāo))(1) To understand conversations about inviting someone to the cinema.(2) To get specific words in the listening passage and to learn new vocabulary of seven days of the week, etc.(3) Let ss grasp the usage o

7、f prepositions of time and place.2. Ability objects (能力目標(biāo))(1) To develop the Ss abilities of communication by learning the useful structure “would you like to ?” “l(fā)ets go .” “Thats a good idea.”(培養(yǎng)學(xué)生與人溝通交流的能力技巧)3. Moral objects (情感目標(biāo))To enable the Ss to be polite and love life. (教會(huì)學(xué)生待人禮貌、熱愛生活)四、 TEA

8、CHING KEY AND DIFFICULT POINTS (教學(xué)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn))The teaching key and difficult points basis is established according to Module 6 unit 1 in the teaching material position and function.1. key points:To enable the ss to study in groups and co-opperate skill fully.To understand the conversation about invitation

9、.Master the sentence structure:Would you like to?Lets go in the (morning/afternoon/evening)2. Difficult points.How to make a new invitation and act it out.The preposition of time: in, onTeaching aidsMulti-media computer, tape, recorder, Powerpoint, flash.They will be needed in this unit. Part two th

10、e Teaching Methods (教學(xué)方法)1. the communicative teaching method (交際教學(xué)法)2. Audio-visual teaching method (直觀教學(xué)法)3. Task-based teaching method (任務(wù)型教學(xué))As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students abilities of listening, speaking, reading, wr

11、iting and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use “Communicative” teaching method, “Audio-visual” teaching method and “Task-based” teaching method. That is to say, Ill let the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue. Ill give the Ss so

12、me tasks and arrange some kinds of activities: singing, talking, watching CAI, acting out dialogue. Part three Teaching procedures (教學(xué)步驟)Step 1 lead in (導(dǎo)入)Let ss listen to a flash Today is Monday, ask ss to sing the song together. Then ask How many days are there in a week?They may answer:There are

13、 seven days.Let Ss name them.T: we dont have lessons _ Sundays. We usually have English lessons _ the morning.Then show three pictures, ask ss:The sun sets _ the afternoon.The cock crows _ the morning.We can see the stars _ the evening.Step 2: practise (練習(xí))Practise 1:Do activity 2. put these phrases

17、vitie 1.Step 4: listen and choose (聽力訓(xùn)練)Talk about going to movies with students.T: Betty and Daming are talking about going to the cinema. Lets listen when and where they would like to go.Play the recording , and choose the correct answers by themselves.Check the answers.Step 5: listen and read. (聽

18、、讀訓(xùn)練)T: Betty and Daming decide to go to the cinema in the evening. Is there anybody else who wants to go with them?Play the recording ,Then check the answers. Read the conversation in pairs Play the recording again for students to repeat. Then check the true sentences in Activity 6 individually.Check the answers with the whole class.Step 6: Speaking Let students work in pairs and act out the conversation
