1、Scene 1 場(chǎng)景 1:皇宮Characters :the Emperor , Soldier-A and Soldier-B( 人物:皇帝,士兵 A, 士兵 B) Narrator : Many years ago there lived an emperor. He was very fond of new clothes that he spent all his money in order to obtain them; his only wish was to always be well dressed. He had a coat for every hour of the

One day, the Emperor said (to Soldiers):旁白: 很久以前有一個(gè)皇帝,他非常喜歡新衣服, 因此他把他所有的錢(qián)都花在衣服上,他唯一的愿望就是每時(shí)每刻都能穿得很漂亮。 在一天里, 他每個(gè)鐘頭都要換一套新的衣服。有一天,皇帝(對(duì)士兵說(shuō))Emperor: Are there any new things about clothes today? 皇帝:今天有沒(méi)有有關(guān)新衣服的消息?Soldier-A : Today man came to our city. They said they were the best weavers in the world

3、.士兵A:今天有兩個(gè)人來(lái)到我們的城市,他們說(shuō)自己是世界上最好的織工。Soldier-B :And that they could produce the finest cloth, which was not only beautiful, but the clothes couldn' t be seen to any man who stupid.士兵 B: 他們還說(shuō)他們能織出最美麗的布。 這些布不僅僅非常好看, 而且用它縫出來(lái)的衣服, 凡是愚蠢的人都看不見(jiàn)。Emperor : That must be wonderful cloth, if I dress in a suit m

4、ade of this cloth, Ican find out which men are unfit for their places or stupid. I must ask them to weave for me right now.皇帝: 這一定是非常奇異的布, 如果我能夠穿上這種布做成的衣服, 我就能夠找出我的王國(guó) 里哪些人是不稱職的,哪些人是愚蠢的。我要叫他們馬上織出這種布。Emperor : (to soldier-A) Find them and ask them make cloth for me. 皇帝:把他們找來(lái),叫他們來(lái)給我織布。Soldier-A : Yes,

5、right away.士兵A:好的,我立刻去。Emperor : (to soldier-B) Set up two rooms for them. 皇帝:準(zhǔn)備兩間房子給他們。Soldier-B : Yes, right away.士兵B(niǎo):是的,我立刻去做。Scene 2場(chǎng)景 2:織布機(jī)房,投影片畫(huà)面上有織布機(jī),有燈光。Characters : Narratoe, Weaver A, Weaver BNarrator : The two weavers were asked to work in the two new rooms. They pretended to be very hard

6、 at work, but they did nothing whatever in the rooms. They asked for the finest silk and the most precious gold-cloth, and worked in the empty rooms till late at night.旁白: 兩個(gè)織工被叫到兩間新房子工作。 他們假裝努力工作, 實(shí)際上卻什么都沒(méi)有做。 他們 要求找來(lái)最好的絲綢和最貴的金紡布料,假裝在那些空房間里工作到深夜。(表演建議:解說(shuō)時(shí),兩個(gè)騙子在機(jī)房里做著織布的動(dòng)作,按劇情表演。Scene 3 場(chǎng)景 3:皇宮(與場(chǎng)景 1

7、同)Characters: the Emperor , Old Minister ( 皇帝,老大臣 )Emperor : (幾天后皇帝在皇宮里走來(lái)走去 ) I should very much like to know how they are getting on with the cloth. But if I can not see it, I am stupid. I don't want that.I must send somebody else to look.皇帝: 我很想知道他們的織布究竟織得怎樣了。 但如果我看不見(jiàn)的話, 那就說(shuō)明我是愚蠢的 人。我不能這樣做,我應(yīng)該

8、先派一個(gè)人去看看。Emperor : ( to the old minister)You an honest man. So I want you to take a look at my new cloth and report back to me.皇帝: (對(duì)老大臣說(shuō))你是個(gè)誠(chéng)實(shí)聰明的人,所以我派你去看一看我的新布料,然后向我匯 報(bào)。Old Minister : Yes, right away. 老大臣:我現(xiàn)在就去。Scene 4場(chǎng)景 4(與場(chǎng)景 2 同)Characters : Minister , Weaver-A, Weaver-B Old Minister:(老大臣來(lái)到那兩間新房

9、子。邊看、邊想著看了看,走到臺(tái)的一側(cè),對(duì)觀眾說(shuō) ) Oh!my god! I cannot see anything at all.大臣:我的天??!我什么都看不見(jiàn)。Weaver-A: Hello! Mr. Minister, come closer and you'll see.織工A:你好,大臣先生,你可以走近點(diǎn),看清楚一點(diǎn)。Weaver-B: Oh, Mr. Minister, did you see these beautiful colors. Howwonderful it is!織工B:啊,大臣先生,看見(jiàn)這些漂亮的顏色嗎?多么美??!Narrator : The poor m

10、inister tried his very best, but he could see nothing, for there was nothing to be seen.He thought, "Oh dear, can I be so stupid? I should never have thought so, and nobody must know it! Is it possible that I am not fit for my office? No, no, I cannot say that I was unable to see the cloth.旁白:

11、這個(gè)可憐的大臣盡他最大的努力去看, 可是他什么都看不到, 因?yàn)槟抢锔揪褪裁礀| 西都沒(méi)有。 大臣想: 天啊, 難道是我愚蠢的人?我從來(lái)都沒(méi)懷疑過(guò)自己, 也不能讓任何人知 道。難道是我不適合這個(gè)位置?不,不,我不能說(shuō)我沒(méi)有看到布。Weaver-A: Have you nothing to say?織工A:現(xiàn)在你有什么意見(jiàn)嗎?Old Minister : Oh, it is very pretty.Very very beautiful!What beautiful patterns( 式樣)! What bright colors! I will tell the Emperor this is

12、 the best cloth in the world. 老大臣:啊,多么美啊,美極了!多么漂亮的式樣啊,多么美麗的色彩??!我會(huì)呈報(bào)皇帝這 是天下最好的布。Weaver-A and Weaver-B : We are happy to hear that.織工A和B:聽(tīng)到你的話我們真高興。Narrator : The weavers told the cloth to him. The old minister listened carefully, so that he could relate it back to the Emperor. Then the weavers asked

13、for more money, silk and gold. They kept everything for themselves, and pretended to work hard.旁白: 織工們向大臣描述這些布的顏色和花紋,大臣注意的聽(tīng)著,以便照樣說(shuō)給皇帝聽(tīng)。然后兩個(gè)織工要求更多的錢(qián), 絲和金子。 他們把所有東西都裝進(jìn)了自己的腰包, 還是繼續(xù)在空 空的機(jī)架上假裝工作。Scene 4場(chǎng)景 4 皇宮Characters: the Emperor, Young MinisterEmperor (to the Young Minister): I always thought you wer

So you go and see how they were getting on, and if the cloth is nearly finished or not.皇帝(對(duì)年輕大臣說(shuō)):我一直都認(rèn)為你老大臣更誠(chéng)實(shí),因此你去看看他們進(jìn)行得怎樣,看 看布是不是快織好了。Young Minister : Thank you for your praise. 年輕大臣:謝謝您的夸獎(jiǎng)。Scene 5場(chǎng)景 5:織布機(jī)房,同場(chǎng)景 2)Characters: Young Minister , Weaver-A Weaver-B

15、Narrator : Like the old minister, he looked and looked but could see nothing, as there was nothing to be seen.旁白:就像老臣一樣,他看了又看,但是什么也沒(méi)看見(jiàn),因?yàn)槟抢锉緛?lái)就沒(méi)有東西。 (建議表演:年輕達(dá)成像那個(gè)老的大臣一樣,他看了又看,非常疑惑的樣子。)Weavers: Is it a beautiful piece of cloth?織工們:這塊布漂亮嗎?Young Minister : ( 想一想,走到一側(cè),對(duì)觀眾說(shuō) ) I amnot stupid, it is therefo

It is very strange, but I must not let any one know.年輕達(dá)成: 我并不愚蠢, 可能是我不適合擔(dān)當(dāng)現(xiàn)在的官職。這真夠奇怪的, 但是我不能讓其 他人知道。Young Minister : It is excellent!年輕大臣:這真是太美了!Weavers: Thank you very much. You are a very clever man. Please ask the king to come review our product.織工們

17、:謝謝,你真是一位聰明的人,你可以回去請(qǐng)皇帝來(lái)看我們的杰作了。Young Minister : I will tell the king. 年輕大臣:我會(huì)向皇帝報(bào)告的。Narrator : The weavers described to him the colors and explained the curious pattern. The Official listened attentively, so that he might relate to the Emperor what they said. Everybody in the whole town talked about

18、 the precious cloth. 旁白:織工們向他描述這些布奇異的顏色和花紋, 年輕達(dá)成注意的聽(tīng)著, 以便回到皇帝那去, 可以照樣說(shuō)出來(lái)。城市里所有的人都在談?wù)撨@些奇異的布。Scene 6 場(chǎng)景:在織布機(jī)房里Characters: the Emperor, Official-A , Official-B,Narrator : In the end, the Emperor decided to see the cloth. He came to the rooms with all his staff.旁白:最后,皇帝決定親自去看看。他跟著他的大臣們來(lái)到機(jī)房。Emperor: ( 看了

19、看,走到臺(tái)側(cè)驚訝地對(duì)著觀眾說(shuō) )What is this? I don't see anything at all. Am I stupid? Am I unfit to be emperor? How terrible it is.(轉(zhuǎn)向兩個(gè)騙子,說(shuō)) Really, your cloth has our most gracious approval. 皇帝:怎么回事?我什么都看不見(jiàn),難道我愚蠢?還是我不適合當(dāng)皇帝呢?好可怕啊。啊,你們的布我非常贊賞。Narrator : All his attendants with him could see nothing at all. 旁白

20、:皇帝的隨從們都沒(méi)有看到任何東西。Official-A, Official-B: It is very beautiful. (裝作贊美的樣子)官員A和B:太漂亮了。Official-B : It is the most beautiful cloth what I have seen in my life. 官員 B: 這是我一生中所見(jiàn)過(guò)的最漂亮的布。Official-A : You can wear the new clothes at a great procession which will soon take place.官員 A: 你可以穿著新衣服參加即將舉辦的盛大游行隊(duì)伍。Emp

21、eror : I will appoint you as Imperial Court weavers. 皇帝:(對(duì)兩個(gè)騙子說(shuō))我將雇傭你們?yōu)閷m廷紡織師。Scene 7場(chǎng)景 7:在皇宮里Characters:the Emperor , Official-A, Official-B, Weaver-A and Weaver-BNarrator : The whole night before the procession, the weavers pretended to work.Everyone saw that they were busy to finish the emperor

22、9;s new suit.旁白: 舉行游行大典的前一天晚上,兩個(gè)織工假裝在工作。人們可以看出他們是在忙著趕 制皇帝的新裝。Weaver-A and Weaver-B : The emperor's new suit is ready now. 織工們:皇帝的新裝做好了。Narrator : The Weavers held their arms up as if they held something in their hands . 旁白:織工們把他們的手臂高高舉起,好象他們手里拿著什么東西。Weaver-A : These are the trousers!織工A:這是褲子。Wea

23、ver- B : This is the coat!織工B:這是大衣。Weaver-A : Here is the cloak!織工A:這是斗篷。Weaver- B : Try on your new clothes. You will find them as light as the air.織工B:試試您的新衣服吧。您將發(fā)現(xiàn)他們輕的就像空氣。All the Officials : Indeed!所有官員:是啊。Weaver-A : Please your Majesty now to take off your dress, and put on these new suits befo

24、re the large mirror.織工A:現(xiàn)在請(qǐng)陛下脫去衣服,我們要在這個(gè)大鏡子面前為陛下?lián)Q上新裝。Narrator : The emperor undressed, and the Weavers pretended to put the new suit upon him, and the emperor looked at himself in the mirror from every side.旁白: 皇帝脫去身上的衣服, 織工們假裝給他穿上新衣, 皇帝在鏡子前轉(zhuǎn)換著角度看著鏡子 里的自己。Official-A : How wonderful they look!官員A:這衣服

25、真好看??!Official-B : How well they fit!官員B:這衣服真合身??!Young Minister : What a beautiful colours!How nice the cloth is! 年輕大臣:多好看的花紋??!這真是一套華麗的衣服!Scene 8 場(chǎng)景 8:在大街上Characters: the Emperor , Official-A, Official-Bresident-A resident-B, the father and a little boyNarrator : The emperor marched in the procession

26、 under a beautiful canopy. People who saw him on the street exclaimed in surprise. 旁白:皇帝在那個(gè)富麗的華蓋下游行著,所有站在街上和窗戶的人都在驚叫著。Resident-A : Indeed, the emperor's new suit is nice! 居民A:真的,皇帝的新裝真的無(wú)與倫比!那長(zhǎng)袍多適合他??! Resident-B : Yes,of course I saw it . It is very wonderful.居民B:是啊,我當(dāng)然看見(jiàn)了,這真是奇妙啊。Narrator : Nobody wished to let others know he
