1、Unit 2 The United Kingdom【教材分析】本單元的話題是“英國”。通過閱讀使學生了解英國的歷史和地理位置,國家的構成及名勝古跡。Warming Up 部分要求學生完成一項小測試任務,了解學生對英國的了解,并調動學生積極的思維,激發(fā)學生的學習動機。Pre-reading 部分通過三個有關英國的小問題,讓學生預測本文的內容,使其大概了解閱讀內容。Reading (Puzzles in Geography)從地理、歷史、政治、文化等多角度說明了聯(lián)合王國的形成、發(fā)展、以及它的風土人情和人文景觀。使學生對英國有一個比較詳實的認識,拓寬了知識面,有助于深入地理解和領悟英國語言和英國文化

2、習俗。Comprehending 部分通過練習加強學生對文章的深層理解,訓練其概括總結能力。Learning about Language 部分主要突出通過語境運用本單元生詞、設計了有關構詞法的練習和各種與動詞say同義和近義詞的練習。語法部分引導學生發(fā)現(xiàn)課文中的過去分詞用作賓語補足語的例句,設計了較為簡單的填空練習和具有趣味性的游戲。練習冊還設計了具有實際意義的活動完成一份調查報告。Using Language 部分涵蓋了聽、說、讀、寫幾個部分。聽的部分通過張萍玉與導游之間的對話使學生親身體驗去倫敦旅行的真實情景,既訓練他們的聽力,又通過回答問題訓練他們的分析能力。讀的部分主要介紹英國倫敦的

3、一些名勝。通過圖片展示,學生圖文并茂感受異國文化,增強學生文化意識,培養(yǎng)學生跨文化理解的能力。說的部分主要通過學生表演游客和導游之間的對話的形式完成。通過練習學生可以熟練地掌握因沒有聽清或聽的聽懂而請求別人復述的幾種表達形式。寫的部分要求學生參考所給的形容詞和動詞,發(fā)散思維,把自己收集到的有關某一建筑物或迷人的景觀的資料寫進學生所在地旅游手冊。學生需要用最生動的語言進行描述,以鼓勵人們前來旅游觀光。Summing Up 部分讓學生對本堂課的學習內容進行總結、對學習效果進行評價,判斷出哪些部分已經掌握,哪些還需要更多的練習。Learning Tip 部分要求學生在寫作之后,主動將所寫的文章讀給別
