1、QSI BASIC AIREND AND SUB COMPONENTSDRIVE MOTORINLET VALVE ASSEMBLYDRIVE COUPLINGPOSITIVE FLOW OIL PUMPTRIPLE LIP SHAFT SEALHIGH-EFFICIENCY ROTORSTRIPLEX TAPERED ROLLER BEARINGS AT DISCHARGEAXIAL FLOW INLET HOUSINGDRIVE COUPLINGTHE QSI PRODUCT LINE USES A FLEXIBLE DROP OUT STYLE DRIVE COUPLING. THIS

2、COUPLING IS OF A SPECIAL DESIGN TO ELEMENT THE SPECIAL HARMONIC VIBRATION THAT ARE PRODUCED EXCLUSIVE BY ROTARY SCREW AIR COMPRESSORS. THE COUPLING ASSEMBLY CONSIST OF TWO COUPLING HALVES BOLTED TO STEEL DRIVE HUBS THAT ATTACH TO THE DRIVE MOTOR SHAFT AND THE COMPRESSOR INPUT SHAFT.ON NEW QSI 1000S,

3、1250S AND 1500S THE COUPLING MUST BE ALIGNED PRIOR TO THE COMPRESSOR GOING INTO SERVICE. THE QSI 245,370,500 AND 750 HAVE A PERMANENT TRANSITION PIECE BETWEEN THE DRIVE MOTOR AND THE INLET HOUSING ON THE BASIC AIREND THAT ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR A COUPLING ALIGNMENT. ON QSI 1000,1250 AND 1500S THE CO

4、UPLING ALIGNMENT SHOULD BE RECHECKED ONCE A YEAR OR ANY TIME THAT THE COMPRESSOR IS MOVED. MARK COUPLING HALVES HERE PRIOR TO REMOVALNOTE: ANY TIME A COUPLING HALF IS REMOVED IT MUST BE MARKED PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL TO ASSURE THE COUPLING IS REINSTALLED IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION AND THAT THE COUPLING

5、 HALVES MATCH.COMPRESSOR SHAFT SEALSQSI COMPRESSORS USE A TRIPLE LIP SHAFT SEAL WITH REPLACEABLE WEAR SLEEVE AND SCAVENGE CAVITY. THE SHAFT SEAL CONSIST OF A WEAR SLEEVE THAT IS PRESSED ONTO THE DRIVE ROTOR SHAFT BEFORE THE DRIVE ROTOR SUCTION BEARING. THIS SLEEVE IS INSTALLED BY HEATING THE SLEEVE

6、AND DRIVING IT ONTO THE PRE-COOLED SHAFT TO OBTAIN A NEGATIVE PRESS FIT. A THIN FILM OF LOCK TITE IS APPLIED TO THE INNER PART OF THE WEAR SLEEVE PRIOR TO BEING DRIVEN ON WITH THE SPECIAL INSTALLATION TOOL.THE TRIPLE LIP SEAL IS INSTALLED IN A SEAL ADAPTER THAT BOLTS TO THE FRONT OUT SIDE OF THE AIR

7、 INLET HOUSING. THE ROTOR DRIVE SHAFT GOES THROUGH THE CENTER OF THE SEAL.BETWEEN THE TRIPLE LIP SEAL AND THE OUTER DUST COVER IS A SCAVENGE CAVITY THAT DIRECTS ANY LUBRICANT THE MIGHT PASS THE SEAL TO BE RETURNED TO THE INLET WHEN THE COMPRESSOR IS OPERATING. THIS SCAVENGE RETURN LINE IS EQUIPPED W

8、ITH A CHECK VALVE AT THE INLET VALVE HOUSING THAT PREVENTS LUBRICANT FROM FLOWING BACK FROM THE BASIC AIREND TO THE SCAVENGE CAVITY WHEN THE COMPRESSOR IS SHUT DOWN.SCAVENGE CAVITY CHECK VALVESEAL WEAR SLEEVETRIPLE LIP SEALOUTER DUST SEAL 空氣經(jīng)過位于動(dòng)力輸入端的進(jìn)氣口進(jìn)入機(jī)殼內(nèi),當(dāng)轉(zhuǎn)子轉(zhuǎn)過機(jī)殼上的吸氣孔口邊緣時(shí),一部分吸入的空氣被封鎖在陰、陽(yáng)轉(zhuǎn)子和機(jī)殼構(gòu)成的
