1、綜合商務英語4教學大綱一、基本信息課程代碼:BEP023課程性質(zhì):專業(yè)核心課課程名稱: 綜合商務英語(4)英文名稱:Integrated English for Business (4)學時/學分: 96/6開課時間:大二(下)適用對象:商務英語專業(yè)二年級學生先修課程: 綜合英語(1)/綜合英語(2)/綜合商務英語(3)二、課程描述 “綜合商務英語”是商務英語專業(yè)的學科基礎課,為商務英語專業(yè)基礎階段的必修課。它旨在讓學生通過對不同商務領域主題的學習,通過聽、說、讀、寫、譯以及討論、解決問題和角色扮演等方面的訓練,加強對英語語言知識的運用能力,培養(yǎng)商務情景中的口頭交流、閱讀和書寫能力,提高處理商

2、務領域?qū)嶋H問題的能力,增強學生綜合素質(zhì)。“綜合商務英語”課程分為二個階段:“綜合商務英語(4)”在商務英語專業(yè)二年級第二學期開設,為商務英語專業(yè)第四學期的綜合語言技能類課程。本課程著重打牢語言基本功,商務專業(yè)素質(zhì)與人文素養(yǎng)并重,強調(diào)語言、文化與商務三者的有機融合,注重培養(yǎng)學生跨文化交際能力,兼顧同其他商務技能課程和商務專業(yè)課程的銜接。三、教學目標通過本課程的理論教學和相關實驗訓練,使學生具備如下能力:以聽說讀寫譯為基礎的英語綜合應用能力:培養(yǎng)學生從事國際商務專業(yè)所需的英語聽力、口語、閱讀理解和寫作的基本專業(yè)英語技能。通過學習,學生能在未來國際商務常見的場景中熟練地進行口頭交流,流利地閱讀和書寫

3、有關文字材料,幫助學生不僅體會國際商務專業(yè)英語語體的一些特點,而且了解國際商務工作中常見工作環(huán)節(jié)。2、培養(yǎng)和提升跨文化商務交際能力:a. 使學生具備在跨文化商務場合中進行語言及非語言交際的能力;了解并掌握解決實際跨文化商務問題所應具備的知識及技能(如商務會話、談判、跨文化商務沖突處理等);提高跨文化交際意識;b. 掌握課文內(nèi)容涉及到的經(jīng)濟、法律、商務、管理等領域的術語,拓展知識面;3、培養(yǎng)對時事的敏感度、批判性思維能力、解析與評論商務現(xiàn)象的能力,與時俱進。四、課程目標對畢業(yè)要求的支撐畢業(yè)要求指標點課程目標1. 聽說要求:能就所聽到的語篇進行問答和復述;能就部分商務話題進行交談;做到正確表達思想

4、,語音、語調(diào)準確自然,基本無語法錯誤,語言得體。2. 閱讀要求:能閱讀中等難度商務材料,閱讀速度為每分鐘120個單詞左右,理解中心大意,抓住主要論點。3. 寫作要求: 能在30分鐘內(nèi)寫出長度為120-150個單詞的商務主題的短文,內(nèi)容切題,條理清楚,語言正確。4. 翻譯要求:能獨立完成課程中的各種翻譯練習,要求理解準確、語言通順。5. 使用工具書:能熟練地使用英語工具書如英漢大詞典等英漢詞典和簡易的英英詞典(如Oxford Advanced English Dictionary 以及Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English),牛津英漢雙解商務英語詞典

5、(Oxford Business English Dictionary for Learners of English),獨立解決語言問題。通過聽、說、讀、寫、譯的語言綜合訓練,使學生初步具備從事國際商務專業(yè)所需的英語聽力、口語、閱讀理解、寫作及翻譯的基本專業(yè)英語技能。課程目標16. 詞匯要求:對商務英語領域詞匯的認知與掌握有較大的提升;掌握課文內(nèi)容涉及到的經(jīng)濟、法律、商務、管理等相關領域的術語。通過基礎詞匯訓練及專業(yè)商務英語詞匯操練,使學生具備商務英語口頭及書面交際所需的詞匯量,并了解經(jīng)管法等商務交際常見術語。課程目標1課程目標2b7. 綜合素質(zhì)要求:熟悉一定的國際商業(yè)文化,熟悉英語國家的地

6、理、歷史、發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀、文化傳統(tǒng)、風俗習慣,熟悉中國文化傳統(tǒng),具有一定的藝術修養(yǎng);具有較多的人文知識和科技知識。要求學生具有樂觀、積極、向上的心理素質(zhì)和勇于創(chuàng)新、不斷更新自身知識體系,有一定的商務敏感度、提升跨文化商務交際意識和跨文化商務交際能力;有與時俱進的精神。通過小組討論、角色扮演、社會調(diào)研、模擬商務場景等綜合訓練,使學生初步具備跨文化商務交際的能力,形成批判性思維,具備評析時事性商務現(xiàn)象的能力。課程目標2a課程目標3五、教學內(nèi)容 第1章 Media: Fact or Fable (支撐課程目標1, 2, 3)重點內(nèi)容:mainstream media, elite media, mass
