4、tudents本單元的話題圍繞“文化禮儀”展開,談論不同國家在不同情景下的文化習俗,涉及的國家有the United States, Japan, Korea, Brazil, Mexico等,表達行為舉止的動詞有bow, kiss, shake hands, meet。本部分的核心結構是be supposed/expected to。該部分要求學生能夠大致聽懂有關國家的文化禮儀的簡單介紹,能夠在聽、讀中獲取相關信息,并能模仿輸入語言,針對各國風俗習慣恰當?shù)剡M行表達。1a-1c為單元導入部分。活動1a要求學生觀察主題圖,根據(jù)自己的初步判斷匹配國家與見面禮儀?;顒?b以聽力形式輸入重點句型:Wh

5、at are people supposed to to when they meet for the first time?要求學生聽后潔廁自己對1a活動的預測是否準確?;顒?c讓學生結對操練,利用聽力1b信息和主題圖進行控制性語言輸出嘗試運用be supposed to 和be expected to句式進行問答。九年級在此之前已知the United States, Japan, Korea, shake hands等詞匯。Bow, kiss, Brazil, Mexico以及句型be supposed to 和be expected to是新知。但kiss與bow等可通過肢體語言快速猜
