music.中西方眼中不同的龍在西方神話傳說中,dragon是一只巨大的蜥蜴,長著翅膀,身上有鱗,拖著一條長長的蛇尾,能夠從嘴中噴火。在西方dragon是罪惡的象征,這來源于圣經(jīng)中的故事。與上帝作對的惡魔(Satan)被稱為the
great
dragon。因此在基督教中dragon總是代表邪惡。一些圣徒都以殺死dragon為其業(yè)績。在英語中,dragon所引起的聯(lián)想與“龍”在中文中所引起的聯(lián)想完全不同,例如說一個人像dragon這并不是一句好話。知識之窗在中國,“龍”是一個圖騰形象。華夏民族的圖騰形象有一個演化過程。他是由多種動物綜合而成的圖騰形象,如龍兼有蛇、獸、魚等多種動物的形態(tài),是以蛇為主的幻想動物。這也反映了華夏民族不斷融合的過程。在我國古代傳說中,龍也作為皇帝的象征。有的詞典為了區(qū)別漢語中的“龍”和英語中的dragon,把中國的“龍”稱為Chinese
dragon,以區(qū)別于英語中的dragon。知識之窗一、交際小高手。(
