大學(xué)英語四級試題、流程說明以2023年12月大學(xué)英語四級考試真題為例CollegeEnglishTest—BandFour(CET-4)《大學(xué)英語教學(xué)大綱》大綱指出:大學(xué)英語教學(xué)的目的是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生具有較強的閱讀能力、一定的聽的能力(理工科合用的大綱還規(guī)定一定的譯的能力)以及初步的寫和說的能力,使學(xué)生能以英語為工具,獲取專業(yè)所需要的信息,并為進一步提高英語水平打下較好的基礎(chǔ)。為此,本考試重要考核學(xué)生運用語言的能力,同時也考核學(xué)生對語法結(jié)構(gòu)和詞語用法的掌握限度。本考試是一種標(biāo)準化考試。由于目前尚不具有口試的條件,暫時只進行筆試。考試范圍重要是教學(xué)大綱所規(guī)定的一級至四級的內(nèi)容。為保證試卷的信度,除短文寫作是主觀性試題外,其余試題都采用客觀性的選擇題形式。短文寫作部分旨在較好地考核學(xué)生運用語言的能力,從而提高試卷的效度。本考試于每學(xué)期結(jié)束前后舉行,由大學(xué)英語四、六級標(biāo)準考試設(shè)計組負責(zé)和實行。每年舉行兩次。本考試涉及五個部分:短文寫作、快速閱讀、聽力理解、閱讀理解、完形填空及翻譯。所有題目按順序統(tǒng)一編號。第一部分:寫作PartIWriting(30minutes):Directions:Forthispart,youareallowed30minutestowriteashortessayentitledHowShouldParentsHelpChildrentoBeIndependent?Youshouldwriteatleast150wordsfollowingtheoutlinegivenbelow.

共1題,考試時間30分鐘。規(guī)定考生寫出一篇不少于150詞的短文,試卷上也許給出題目,或規(guī)定情景,或規(guī)定看圖作文,或給出段首句規(guī)定續(xù)寫;或給出關(guān)鍵詞規(guī)定寫成短文。規(guī)定可以對的表達思想,意義連貫,無重大語法錯誤。寫作的內(nèi)容涉及平常生活和一般常識。短文寫作部分的目的是測試學(xué)生運用英語書面表達思想的初步能力。第二部分:快速閱讀PartIIReadingComprehension(SkimmingandScanning)(15minutes)1-10共10題考試時間15分鐘。Directions:Inthispart,youwillhave15minutestogooverthepassagequicklyandanswerthequestionsonAnswerSheet1.Forquestions1-7,choosethebestanswerfromthefourchoicesmarked[A],[B],[C]and[D].Forquestions8-10,completethesentenceswiththeinformationgiveninthepassage.

B節(jié)有10題,安排3篇聽力材料,每篇聽力材料后有三至四道題,每題為一個問句的單選題。SectionC36-46

C節(jié)共11題,讀三遍,36-43填詞44-46填句子A節(jié)、B節(jié)念一遍,每個問句后有約15秒的間隙,規(guī)定考生從試卷所給出的每題四個選擇項中選出一個最佳答案。C節(jié)念三遍,填詞或句子。錄音的語速為每分鐘約120詞。選材的原則是:1、話部分為平常生活中的一般對話,句子結(jié)構(gòu)和內(nèi)容不太復(fù)雜;2、短篇聽力材料為題材熟悉、情節(jié)不太復(fù)雜的故事、發(fā)言、敘述等;3、所用詞語不超過教學(xué)大綱詞匯表四級規(guī)定的范圍。聽力理解部分的目的是測試學(xué)生獲取口頭信息的能力。

第四部分:閱讀理解PartⅣReadingComprehension(ReadinginDepth)(25minutes):47-66共20題,考試時間25分鐘。這部分涉及兩節(jié)SectionA選詞搭配填空(15個答案10個空)47-56

B節(jié)有兩段文字,分別設(shè)一個問題的單選題。這部分規(guī)定考生閱讀若干篇短文,總閱讀量不超過1000詞。1、題材廣泛,可以涉及人物傳記、社會、文化、平常知識、科普常識等,但是所涉及的背景知識應(yīng)能為學(xué)生所理解;2、體裁多樣,可以涉及敘述文、說明文、議論文等;3、文章的語言難度中檔,無法猜測而又影響理解的關(guān)鍵詞,如超過教學(xué)大綱詞匯表四級的范圍,用漢語注明詞義。閱讀理解部分重要測試下述能力:1、掌握所讀材料的主旨和大意;2、了解說明主旨和大意的事實和細節(jié);3、既理解字面的意思,也能根據(jù)所讀材料進行一定的判斷和推論;4、既理解個別句子的意義,也理解上下文的邏輯關(guān)系。閱讀理解部分的目的是測試學(xué)生通過閱讀獲取信息的能力,既規(guī)定準確,也規(guī)定有一定速度。第五部分:完形填空PartⅤCloze(15minutes)67-86
