RespondentstodayareoptimisticabouthowAI—andgenerativeAI,inparticular—willa?ecttheirwork,evenmoresothan?veyearsago,feelingthatitwillsavethemtimeandpromoteinnovationintheirroles.
Butthatlevelofexcitementvariesconsiderablybyseniorityandbycountry.Withinorganizations,thoseatthetoparefarmorepositiveaboutthetechnology,whilefrontlineemployees?nditsigni?cantlymoreworrisome.
Therearealsosomedeep-seatedconcerns,includingthatcompaniesarenottakingadequatemeasurestoensureresponsibleuseofAIandthatmoreupskillingisneededtoprepareforexpectedchangestowork.Plus,regulationsarenotyetinplacebutareseenasnecessaryandimportant.
