教材分析本課為本模塊Unit2的第一個課時，本課課型為reading，引導學生理解文章主旨和讀懂文章細節(jié)，能夠回答“導學案”提出的相關(guān)問題，并引導學生了解不同文化。

學情分析學生已能通過unit1的學習了解了在“接受生日禮物”的場景中體現(xiàn)的中西文化的差異，讓學生產(chǎn)生了了解更多不同文化的興趣。學生能夠簡單說出“must，mustn’t”等情態(tài)動詞的句子。

Carefulreading.(Handout)Playtheflashofthepassage.Thenhavethestudentsfinishthepracticeonthehandout.Thestudentswatchtheflash,thenfinishthepracticeonthehandout.一，本活動通過播放課文文章的flash影片，達到分層教學的兩個目的：1，幫助部分閱讀能力較差的同學掌握文章大意，為分段閱讀增加信心；2，對通過fastreading已掌握大意的同學進行聽力的輸入，潛移默化的培養(yǎng)學生聽的能力。二，本活動針對學生學情，將精讀全文改為分段精讀，通過四組題目來檢測學生的精讀成果，四組題目題型各異，由易至難，既能加強學生的閱讀理解又能進行有效的筆頭輸出。
