VitalcelloseSodiumcarboxymethylcellulose(CMC)isananioniccelluloseethermadefromnaturalcottonfiberastheprimaryrawmaterialthroughalkalization,etherification,purification,drying,pulverization,orgranulation.TheappearanceofCMCiswhitepowderorgranules,anditswater-solublecolloidhasthefunctionsofthickening,stabilizing,emulsifying,suspending,andfilm-forming.Theyarewidelyusedinfood,toothpaste,paper,ceramics,printinganddyeing,oildrilling,andotherindustries.
