IvereadabookcalledPrideandPrejudicewrittenbyJaneAustenduringthiswinterholidays.JaneAustenwasunmarriedallherlife.Shewasborninamid-classfamilyandwasbroughtupinacomfortableenvironmentwithharmonioussurroundings,sotheresnottoomanyconflictsinhersightneitherinhernovel.InPrideandPrejudiceshetalkeddifferentideasaboutloveandmarriagethroughdifferentcharacters.

AtaballBingleyfellinlovewithJaneBennetwhostheoldestdaughteroftheBennets.BingleysfriendDarcyalsocametotheballandstruckthesights,manygirlslikedhimwhilehethoughtallofthemcouldntsuithispreference,includingElizabeth.Mr.Darcyalwaysshowsothersaimpressionofpride,havingfoundthisElizabethbegantohateMr.Darcy.BeforelongDarcyfellinlovewithElizabethBennett(secondoldestdaughterintheBennets)becauseofherlovelybehavior,whileElizabethisdisgustedbyhisprideandhasaprejudiceabouthim.
