IamwritingtopresentmyreportonmyperformanceasanEnglishteacherfortheelementaryschoolstudentsintheautumnsemester.
Thissemesterwasachallengingoneforme,asIhadtoadjusttothechangesinthecurriculumandteachingmethodsduetotheongoingpandemic.However,Istrivedtomaintainstudentengagementandpromotetheirlearningdespitethechallengeswefaced.
Oneofmymaingoalsforthissemesterwastoimprovemyteachingmethodology.Inordertoachievethis,Iutilizedvariousteachingaidsandmethods,suchasflashcards,visualaids,andinteractivegamestomakemyclassesmoreengagingandinteractive.Ialsomadeuseofdifferentiatedinstructiontohelpstudentswithdifferentlearningstylesandlevels.
Furthermore,Iplacedalotofemphasisonencouragingstudentparticipationandfeedback.Iwouldoftenaskfortheirthoughtsandopinionsonthelessoncontentandassignments.Ifoundthatthisapproachnotonlyhelpedmeimproveasateacherbutalsofosteredapositivelearningenvironmentformystudents.
Anothersignificantachievementwasmyabilitytostrengthenmyrelationshipwithstudents'parents.Imadesuretocommunicatewiththemregularlyregardingtheirchild'sprogressandalsoofferedresourcesandtipstohelpparentssupporttheirchildren'slearningathome.
Intermsofclassroommanagement,Iuphelddisciplinewhilestillcreatingasafeandwelcomingatmosphereformystudents.Ithoroughlyplannedandpreparedforeachclasstoensuresmoothtransitionsandmaximumlearningtime.
However,IalsoacknowledgeareaswhereIcanimprove.Onesuchareaistheuseoftechnologyintheclassroom.Thereisnodenyingthegrowingsignificanceoftechnologyineducation,andIaimtodevelopmyskillsandknowledgeinthisareatofurthermystudents'learning.
Insummary,thissemesterhasbeenanenrichingexperienceformeasateacher.Ihavelearnedhowtoadapttonewchallengeswhilststillprioritizingstudentlearning.Ihavestrengthenedmyteachingmethodology,studentengagementandrelationshipwithparents.Iamgratefulfortheopportunitytocontributetotheeducationofouryounglearners,andIwillcontinuetowork
