summeduppracticalexperienceandformulatedthiscodebasedonextensiveconsultation.

1.GeneralProvisions
1.0.1Inordertostandardizethedesigncontentanddepthofdensifiedbiofuelprojectsforheatingboilers,
andensurethequalityofsuchprojects,thiscodewasformulated.
1.0.2Thiscodeisapplicabletonew,rebuiltandexpandeddensifiedbiofuelprojectsforheatingboilerswith
annualproductioncapacityof10,000tonsormore(≥10,000tons).
1.0.3Inadditiontothiscode,thedesignofdensifiedbiofuelprojectsforheatingboilersshallalsocomply
withtheregulationsincurrentrelevantnationalstandards.

2.BasicRequirements
2.0.1Projectconstructionshallcomplywithnationalpoliciesandlocalurbanandruralconstructionplanning
requirements.
2.0.2Theengineeringsiteshallhavegoodexternalconditions,includingtransport,powersupply,watersupply,
communicationandterrain,andshallbelocatedinadownwindorcrosswinddirectionoftheannualmaximum
frequencywinddirectioninresidentialareas.
2.0.3Theengineeringdesignscaleshallconsiderthedistributionofbiomassrawmaterials,resources,storage,
transport,andprojectconstruction,aswellasthedemandsofheatingboilers.
2.0.4Thesafetydistancefrominflammablesandexplosivesproductionplants,warehouses,high-voltage
transmissionlines,civilbuildings,etc.shallbefullyconsidered,andcomplywiththeregulationsofthecurrent
nationalstandard''CodeforFireProtectionDesignofBuildings''GB50016.
2.0.5Engineeringconstructionshallbeconducivetoecologyandenvironmentalprotection,andachieveclean
production.

3.ProcessDesign
3.1GeneralRequirement
3.1.1Theprocessdesignshallmeettherequirementsofdensifiedbiofuelproductionforheatingboilers,
productqualityandoutput.
3.1.2Theprocessproceduresincluderawmaterialqualityinspectionandstorage,rawmaterialpretreatment,
compressionforming,dedusting,cooling,packaging,warehousing,factoryinspection,etc.,andshallcomply
withrelevantrequirementsforenvironmentalprotectionandenergyconservation.
3.1.3Theselectionofmainequipmentshallconsiderthefollowingfactors:

8Operationandmaintenance
3.1.4Advancedprocessproceduresandequipmentshouldbeadopted,theequipmentlayoutshouldbe
compactandreasonable,andthereshouldbeenoughspaceforoperation,maintenanceandmanagement.
3.2RawMaterialQualityInspectionandStorage
3.2.1Materialmeasurementandqualityinspectionfacilitiesandequipmentshallbeinstalled.
3.2.2Thecapacityofrawmaterialstoragefacilitiesshallmeettheproductionneedsofnotlessthan7days.
3.2.3Therawmaterialstorageshouldadoptrawmaterialshedsorrawmaterialwarehouses,whichshould
ensureventilation,fireprevention,rainandsnowprevention,dedustingandsmoothtransportofrawmaterials.
3.3RawMaterialPretreatment
3.3.1Rawmaterialpretreatmentshouldincludeimpuritycleaning,crushing,drying,mixing,etc.,andcanbe
appropriatelyincreasedordecreasedaccordingtotheneedsoftheproductionprocess.
3.3.2Rawmaterialimpuritycleaningfacilitiesshouldbeestablished.
3.3.3Theproductioncapacityofthecrushingprocessshallbegreaterthan1.3times(>1.3×)theforming
productioncapacity.

3.3.4Accordingtotheneedsoftheformingprocess,aftertherawmaterialsarecrushed,mixingequipmentcan
beutilizedbeforedryingandcompressionforming.
3.4CompressionForming
3.4.1Thestoragebinshouldbesetinfrontoftheformingmachine,andthestoragecapacityofthestoragebin
shallmeetthecontinuousproductionneedsoftheformingequipment.
3.4.2Theformingequipmentshallcomplywiththeprovisionsofthecurrentindustrystandard"Technical
conditionsfordensifiedbiofuelmoldingequipment"NY/T1882,andshallensureproductqualityandcapacity
requirements.
3.4.3Thespareformingequipmentshouldbereasonablyconfiguredaccordingtotheneedsoftheproduction
capacity.
3.4.4Theformingequipmentshallbearrangedreasonably,anditshouldbearrangedinparallelwhenusing
multiplesetsofequipment.
3.5Dedusting
3.5.1Theproductionworkshopshallbeequippedwithadedustingsystem,andthedustconcentrationofthe
workshopshallcomplywiththecurrentnationalstandard"OccupationalExposureLimitsofHazardous
FactorsintheWorkplace"GBZ2,andtheemissionstandardshallcomplywiththecurrentnationalstandard
"DesignHygieneStandardsforIndustrialEnterprises"GBZ1and"IntegratedEmissionStandardofAir
Pollutants"GB16297.
3.5.2Thedust-dispersingprocessequipmentshouldbeclosed,andthedust-proneareashouldbeequipped
withasuctionhoodtocapturethedust.
3.5.3Thededustingsystemshalltakemeasurestopreventsecondarypollutionofdust.
3.6Cooling,PackagingandProductInspection
3.6.1Aircoolingorothercoolingmethodsshallbeselectedaccordingtoprocessrequirements.
3.6.2Itisadvisabletoinstallpackagingequipmentafterthemeasuringprocess,andalsoconfigurebulk
storagetanks.
3.6.3Theproductionfacilityshouldbeequippedwithaproducttestinglaboratoryandrelevanttesting
equipment.

4GeneralLayout
4.0.1Thegenerallayoutshallmeetthefollowingrequirements:
1Designmissionandrequirementsoftheurbanandruralconstructionplanningdepartmentforthe
selectedplantsite.
2Theprovisionsofthecurrentnationalstandard"DesignCodeofIndustrialCorporationSitePlanning"
GB50187.
3Designedaccordingtotheplannedscale,takingintoaccountfollow-upprojectsandunifiedplan
planning.
4Thelayoutofthemainandauxiliarybuildingsisreasonable,theproductionlineiscompactand
standardized,andtheflowofpeopleandlogisticsareseparated.
5Onthepremiseofmeetingproductionrequirements,thelayoutiscompactandreasonable,savingland
andreducingtheamountofrequiredearthandstone.
6Comprehensiveconsiderationofbuildinglayout,transport,roads,powersupplylines,watersupply
anddrainagepipelines,industrialpipelines,fireprotection,greening,environmentalprotection,etc.
4.0.2Accordingtotheproductionprocessandfunction,theplantareashouldbedividedintoofficearea,raw
materialarea,productionareaandfinishedproductarea,andeachareashouldbecloselyconnectedand
properlyseparated.
4.0.3Thebuildinglayoutshallmeetthefollowingrequirements:
1Thebuildingspacingmeetstherequirementsoffireprotection.
2Thebuildinghasgoodnaturallightingandventilationconditions.
3Theimpactofproductionnoiseanddustontheoverallenvironmentisconsidered.
4.0.4Theplanttrafficsystemshallbedesignedaccordingtotheflowofpeople,logisticslinesandthetotal
planttraffic.Theroadsintheplantshallmeetthefollowingrequirements:
1Theroadsintheplantareashallbesmoothtofacilitatethepassageofvehicles.Theroadsforthe
transportofrawmaterials,finishedproductsandmainpeopleshouldusetwo-waylanes.
2Accordingtourbanandruralroadplanningprinciples,andtheprincipleofdivisionofpeopleand
material,thefactoryentrancesandexitsshallbereasonablyset,andthereshallbenolessthan2entrancesand
exits.
3Fireexitsandemergencyexitsshallbesetupwithobvioussigns.
4Theroadintheplantareashouldbehardenedpavement.

5CivilDesign
5.1GeneralRequirements
5.1.1Thespecificconditionsofproductionscale,site,materialsandconstructionshallbecomprehensively
considered,andcivildesignshallbecarriedoutinaccordancewiththeproductionprocess.
5.1.2Theclassificationoffirehazardstandardsforproductionandauxiliarybuildingsshallcomplywiththe
provisionsofthecurrentnationalstandard"CodeforFireProtectionDesignofBuildings"GB50016.
5.2ProductionBuildings
5.2.1Productionbuildingsshouldincluderawmaterialwarehouse,productionworkshop,finishedproduct
warehouse,etc.
5.2.2Productionbuildingsshallbearrangedinzones,andonthepremiseofmeetingtherelevantrequirements
forfireprotectionandevacuation,localconjoineddesigncanbecarriedout.
5.2.3Theopening,spanandheightoftheproductionbuildingshallbedeterminedaccordingtotheproduction
scaleandprocesslayout.
5.2.4Theindoorgroundelevationoftheproductionbuildingshallnotbelowerthantheoutdoorgrounddesign
elevation,andnotlessthan0.3m(≥0.3m).
5.2.5Productionbuildingsshouldbeequippedwithlargeequipmenttransportchannels.
5.2.6Theflooroftheproductionbuildingshallbehardened,flat,wear-resistant,moisture-proof,andstrong
enoughtomeettheproductionneeds.
5.2.7Theliveloadontheflooroftheproductionbuildingcanbecalculatedaccordingtothelocalloadand
concentratedloadcausedbyheavyobjectsusedinproduction,installationandmaintenance,stackingmaterials,
transportvehicles,etc.
5.2.8Aplatformforloadingandunloadingmaterialsandawningshallbeinstalledattheexitofthefinished
productwarehouse.
5.3AccessoryBuildings
5.3.1Theproductionworkshopshallbeequippedwithacontrolroomaccordingtotheneedsoftheequipment,
anditslocationshallmeetthefollowingrequirements:
1Itisadjacenttotheproductionworkshop,andeasytoobserve,operateanddispatch.
2Ithasgoodventilationandlighting,andavoidsdirectsunlightandglare.
3Theimpactofvibrationissmall,andthenoiseshallnotbehigherthan70dB(≤70dB).
5.3.2Thedesignofthecontrolroomshallmeetthefollowingrequirements:
1ThefireresistancelevelshallnotbelowerthanClass2.

4Cablemaintenanceisconvenient.
5Thefloorshoulduseinsulationmaterialandanti-staticmeasuresshouldbetaken.
5.3.3Thetestingroomshallmeetthetestingneedsofrawmaterialsandfinishedproducts.
5.3.4Theofficespaceshallbekeptatanappropriatedistancefromtheproductionareatoavoidtheeffects
ofnoise,vibrationanddust.
5.3.5Anindependentelectromechanicalequipmentmaintenanceroomandasparepartsstorageroomshall
bemaintainedintheplantarea.

6ElectricalEngineering
6.1LoadandPowerSupply
6.1.1Theproductionpowerloadshallbeathree-levelload.Itisadvisabletousethedemandcoefficient
methodtocalculatethepowerload.
6.1.2Thelow-voltagedistributioncircuitshallbedividedaccordingtotheproductionworkshop,production
line,worksection,processorunit.
6.1.3Drying,compressionforming,anddedustingequipmentcanbesettoutilizeamanuallyswitchedstandby
circuit.
6.1.4Thelightingpowersupplyintheproductionworkshopshouldbepoweredbyaspeciallinefroma
low-voltagedistributionsystem.Whensharedwiththepowerdistribution,amainlightingswitchandpower
distributioncabinetseparatefromthepowerdistributionshouldbeinstalledafterenteringtheproduction
workshop.
6.2PowerDistributionandLighting
6.2.1Theprotectionlevelofmotorsandelectricalappliancesshallmeettheregulationsofthecurrentnational
standard''DegreesofProtectionProvidedbytheIntegralDesignofRotatingElectricalMachines(IPcode)
-Classification''GB/T4942.1.
6.2.2Thesocketsintheproductionworkshopshouldadoptindependentcircuitpowerdistributionandbe
equippedwithcurrentprotectiondeviceswithexplosion-prooffunctions.
6.2.3Whenwiring,thefillingcoefficientofthecableincabletrays,ductsandconduitsshouldnotbelarger
than40%.Theinfluenceoftemperatureriseonthesafecarryingcapacityandtheconvenienceofinstallation
andmaintenanceshallbeconsidered.
6.2.4Theproductionworkshopshallhaveproductionlighting,dutylightingandemergencylighting,andthe
firepumproomandproductionmonitoringareashallhavebackuplighting.
6.2.5Efficientandeasy-to-maintaindust-proofandexplosion-prooflampsshallbeselected.
6.3LightingProtectionandGroundingDesign
6.3.1Variousgroundingprotectionintheproductionworkshopshouldsharethegroundingdevice,andthe
groundingresistanceshallnotbelargerthan1Ω;thefactoryelectricalsystemshouldadopttheTN-Sor
TN-C-Sgroundingprotectionsystem.
6.3.2Anequipotentialconnectionsystemshallbeusedintheproductionworkshop.Measuresshouldbetaken
topreventelectricshockinareasoutsidetheequipotentialactionarea.
6.3.3Theincomingswitchofthedryinganddedustinglinkshouldbeequippedwithanalarmandleakage
protectiondevicewithdelayedaction.

7.WaterSupplyandDrainageandHeating
7.1WaterSupply
7.1.1Twowatersupplymainsshallbeinstalledintheplantarea,oneofwhichshallmeettheneedsofthe
wholeplantproductionanddomesticwater,andtheotherofwhichshallmeetthefirewaterneedsofthewhole
plant.
7.1.2Theproductionwaterconsumptionshouldbe1.10timesto1.15times(1.10-1.15×)thesumofthe
productionwaterconsumptionofeachprocess,andthewatersupplypipeintotheplantareashallbeequipped
withatotalmeteringdevice.
7.2Drainage
7.2.1Thedrainagesystemoftheplantareashalladoptrainandsewagediversion.Thedrainageshallcomply
withtheregulationsofthecurrentnationalstandard"CodeforOutdoorDrainageDesign"GB50014.
7.2.2Theroadsintheplantareashallhaveagooddrainagesystem.
7.3Heating
7.3.1Accordingtolocalclimaticconditions,aheatingsystemcanbeinstalledintheproductionworkshop,and
theindoortemperatureshallmeettheproductionrequirements.
7.3.2Theproductionworkshopshalladoptaheatdissipationdevicethatdoesnoteasilyaccumulatedust,is
easytoclean,andhasgoodcorrosionresistance.
7.4VentilationandAirConditioning
7.4.1Theventilationsystemshallcomplywiththeregulationsofthecurrentnationalstandard"Occupational
ExposureLimitsofHazardousFactorsintheWorkplace"GBZ2.
7.4.2Therawmaterialwarehouseandfinishedproductwarehousecanadoptnaturalventilationormechanical
ventilation.
7.4.3Whenthetemperatureintheproductionworkshopexceeds36℃,coolingmeasuresshallbetaken.

8FireProtection
8.0.1Thefirehazardlevelandfireresistancelevelofthemainbuildings(structures)shallcomplywiththe
regulationsofthecurrentnationalstandard"CodeforFireProtectionDesignofBuildings"GB50016.
8.0.2Inthegenerallayoutoffireprotection,thefirepartitions,fireseparationdistances,andfirepassagesof
themainbuildings(structures)shallcomplywiththeregulationsofthecurrentnationalstandard"Codefor
FireProtectionDesignofBuildings"GB50016.
8.0.3Thedistancefromthefurthestworkingplaceintheproductionworkshoptotheexternalexitshallmeet
thenationalfiresafetymanagementregulations,andthereshouldbenolessthan2entrancesandexits.
8.0.4Whentheprocessconditionspermit,appropriatefireseparationcanbecarriedoutinthefirepartition.
