1.Scope

Thestandardhasstipulatedtheclassification,technicalrequirement,inspectionmethods,and

inspectionrules,etc.fordrum-screens.

Thestandardappliestothedesign,manufacturingandacceptanceofdrum-screensthat

removesuspendedsolidsfromwaterbyrotatingscreen.

3.BasicRequirementforProductClassification

3.1Classification

Drum-screenshallbeclassifiedbasedonthedesignandmethodofwaterintake,whichshall

beasfollows:

a)Lightdesignlightdesigncategory（缺“類別”一詞的翻譯）:theextreme

designwaterleveldifferencebetweentheinsideandoutsideofdrum-screenshallnotbemorethan

1.0m.

b)Mediumdesign:theextremedesignwaterleveldifferencebetweentheinsideandoutside

ofdrum-screenshallnotbemorethan1.5m.

c)Heavydesign:theextremedesignwaterleveldifferencebetweentheinsideandoutsideof

drum-screenshallnotbemorethan2.0m.

d)Singlesidedwaterintake:watershallflowintothedrum-screenfromonesideofit.

e)Doublesidedwaterintake:watershallflowintothedrum-screenfrombothsidesofit.

f)Waterintakefrominsidethescreen:watershallflowinfrominsidethedrum-screenand

flowoutwardafterbeingfilteredthroughmeshes.

c)Meshdiameter:thedimensionsofmesharedeterminedbasedonthesizeofsmallest

contaminanttobefilteredbythedrum-screen,andtherangeincludes0.5mmx0.5mm,1mmx

1mm,2mmx2mm,3mmx3mm,4mmx4mm,6.43mmx6.43mm,φ3mm,φ4.2mm,φ5mm,

φ6mmandφ8mm.

d)Differenceofwaterlevelbetweeninsideandoutsidethescreen(Δh).

Lowspeed:Δhshallbelessthan100mm;

Mediumspeed:Δhshallbelessthan200mmbutnotlessthan100mm;

4.TechnicalRequirement

4.1Thedrum-screenshallmeetthestandardandbemanufacturedaccordingtothedrawingsand

technicaldocumentsbyestablishedprocedures.

4.2TheironcastingsshallcomplywithGB/T9439.

4.3ThesteelcastingsshallcomplywithGB/T11352.

4.4TheforgingsshallcomplywithJB/T4385.1.

4.5TheweldmentsshallcomplywithGB50205.

4.6Theantisepticpainttreatmentonthedrum-screenshallcomplywiththeprovisionsonsteel

structurepaintinginGB50205.

4.7Partsofthesamespecificationshallbetotallyinterchangeable.

4.8Auto-controlofthedrum-screenisrealizedviathewaterleveldifference.Theregulardesignis

doublespeedortriplespeed:ingeneral,whenthewaterleveldifferenceislessthan100mm,it

runsinlowspeed;whenthewaterleveldifferenceisnotlessthan100mmbutlessthan200mm,it

runsinlowormediumspeed;whenthewaterleveldifferenceisnotlessthan200mm,itrunsin

highspeed;whenthewaterleveldifferencereaches300mm,thealarmgoesoff.

4.9Drum-screenwithadiameterofmorethan3mshallbedetachable.

4.10Materialsusedinseawaterorpoorwaterqualityenvironmentshallbeproperlychosenbased

onthechlorideionconcentration.Whendrum-screenmadeofcarbonsteelisused,antiseptic

paintingshallbemadeandcathodicprotectiontechnologywillbeadopted.

4.11Thedesignclassificationoflight,mediumandheavyandsafetyparametersofthemainbody

aredeterminedbasedonuser’swaterquality,workingsystemandotherrequirements.

4.12Therangeofbackwashwatervolumeforthedrum-screenisdeterminedas22m3/h~245m3/h

andtherangeofhydraulicpressure0.17MPa~0.3MPabasedonuser’swaterquality,working

systemandotherrequirements.

4.13Themotorprotectionclass,insulationclassandotherrequirementsaredeterminedbasedon

whethertheuserequipmentislaidoutindoorsoroutdoors.

4.14Alloilandwaterpipesshallbewashedcleanandkeptunblockedwithoutleakage.

4.15Thetransmissionsshallbeabletorotateflexiblyandconvenientlywithoutjammingafter

assembly.

4.16Thelengthofparalleldeviationbetweenthecenterlineofmainshaftandthehorizontalplane

shallnotbemorethan0.1mmevery1000mmafterthedrum-screenisinstalled.

4.17Thetoothcrestrunoutofbiggearringshallnotbemorethan1/4ofgearmoduleafterthe

drum-screenisinstalled.

4.18Therunoutonbothend-facesofthedrum-screenshallnotbemorethan0.0005D(D

representsthenominaldiameterofthedrum-screen).

4.19Rawmaterials,purchasedpartsandoutsourcedpartsshallbeaccompaniedbythequality

certificatesfromthemanufacturer.Asforimportedparts,certificateoforiginandinspectionreport

arealsorequired.

4.20Therunningnoiseofthedrum-screen(includingthemotor)shallnotbehigherthan85dB

(A).

5.InspectionMethods

5.1TheironcastingsshallbeinspectedaccordingtoGB/T9439.

5.2ThesteelcastingsshallbeinspectedaccordingtoGB/T11352.

5.3TheforgingsshallbeinspectedaccordingtoJB/T4385.

5.4TheweldmentsshallbeinspectedaccordingtoGB50205.

5.5Theantisepticpaintingtreatmentofdrum-screenshallbeinspectedaccordingtoGB50205.

5.6ThewaterlevelrecorderinArticle4.8ofthestandardshallbeinspectedaccordingtorelevant

standardsofthemanufacturer.

5.7Articles4.16,4.17and4.18ofthestandardhadbetterbeinspectedbytheregularmethodsfor

universalmeasuringinstruments.

5.8Thedrum-screenshallbeassembledandgothroughverticalno-loadtestbeforeleavingfactory.

Thetransmissionsystemshallcomplywiththestandard.Theradialrunoutshallbemeasured

accordingtoArticle4.17ofthestandard.TheaxialrunoutshallbemeasuredaccordingtoArticle

4.18ofthestandard.

5.9ThepurchasedpartsandoutsourcedpartsinArticle4.19ofthestandardincludingautomatic

backwashfilterandwasherpumpshallbeinspectedaccordingtorelevantstandardsofthe

manufacturer.

5.10Themainshaftsealofthedrum-screenshallgothroughtightnesstestinthefactoryandthe

leakageshallnotbemorethan0.2L/day.

5.11Therunningnoiseofthedrum-screen(includingthemotor)shallbemeasuredaccordingto

6.InspectionRules

6.1EachproductshallpasstheinspectionconductedbytheQCdepartmentofthemanufacturing

plantandbeaccompaniedbyproductqualitycertificatebeforeleavingfactory.

6.2Productsshallbeassembledinthemanufacturingplantbeforeleavingfactory.Meanwhile,one

productshallbepickedfromeachbatchforverticalno-loadtest.

6.3Productinanyofthefollowingsituationsshallgothroughtypetest:

a)Trialproduction,typeapprovalandidentificationofnewproduct;

b)Majorimprovementofstructure,processandmaterial;

c)Thequalitysupervisionauthoritymakesarequest.

7.Labeling,PackagingandTransportation

7.1Onerustproofnameplateshallbefixatedonnotablelocationofeachdrum-screen,atleast

includingthefollowingcontent:

a)Productnameandmodel;

b)Drum-screendiameterandwidth;

c)Completemachinequality;

d)Screenboardvelocity;

e)Ex-factorynumber;

f)Dateofmanufacture;

g)Nameofmanufacturingplant.

7.2TheproductpackageshallcomplywithGB/T13384.

7.3Accompanyingtechnicaldocumentsinclude:

a)Productqualitycertificate;

b)Packinglist;

c)Generaldrawing;

d)Basicdrawing;

e)Installationdrawing;

f)Installationandoperationmanual.
