ThehistoryofTeacher'sDaytracesbacktotheHanDynasty(206BC-AD220).Accordingtorecord,duringtheHan(202BC–AD220)andJin(1115-1234)dynasties,onAugust27eachyear,thebirthdayofConfucius,theemperorwouldgotoConfucius'templeandpaytributetotheancientphilosopherfollowedbycourtofficials,andwouldalsoinviteroyalteacherstotheimperialcourtforabanquet.教師節(jié)的歷史可以追溯到漢朝（公元前206年-公元220年）。據(jù)記載，漢朝（公元前202年-公元220年）和晉朝（1115-1234年），每年8月27日孔子誕辰，皇帝都要到孔廟祭奠這位古代哲學(xué)家。并會邀請王師到朝廷設(shè)宴。Confucius,China’sfirstteacherConfucius(551-479BCE),knownas孔子(Kǒngzǐ)inChinese,wasbornintheSpringandAutumnPeriod(770-481BCE)inmoderndayShandongProvince.Hisparentswereneitherpeasantsnoraristocrats,butbelongedtoamiddleclassofcommongentrycalled士(shì).
