4/4Unit2Grammar公開課教學設計(二)EnglishLessonPlanfortheSubjunctiveMood包頭高新一中陳俊麗Backgroundinformation:Goodgrammarissexy.TeachinggrammarintheDigitalAgeischallenging,soIselectvividmaterialstohelpstudentstolearnefficientlyandwidentheireyesightinanewwayguidedby"Indoingwelearn",inwhichcase,thestudentscanexperimentwithEnglish,exposedtotheidiomaticEnglishclosetotheirlifeabouttheSubjunctiveMood.HerearesometipsaboutwhatIalwaysdowhenteachinggrammar.1.Teachgrammarinthecontextofwritingandreading.2.Helpstudentsfigureoutthegrammarrule,notmemorizeit.3.Teachstudentsreal-worldgrammar,notjusttextbookgrammar.4.Don'tjustteachstudentsgrammar:teachthemhowtolearngrammar.5.Showstudentshowgrammarhelpsuscommunicatemoreclearlyandaffectourexpressionofoneanother.6.Avoidnegativemodelingwhenpossible.7.Teachstudentstherule--andwhentobreakthem.8.Teachstudentstheimportanceofaudienceandpurpose.Teachingaims:1.SincetheSubjunctivemoodisawishinthefutureortheregretformofunfulfilledexpectations,thestudentswillbeabletowritesentenceswithgivensubjunctiveclausesandwishesbycreatingdifferentsituationsbasedonthebasicconceptoftheSubjunctiveMood.(meaning)andthethreedifferentstructuresoftheSubjunctiveMood.(form)2.Accordingtoawiderangeofvividandimaginativeactivities,thestudentswillbeabletomakegooduseoftheSubjunctiveMoodfreelyintheirdailylife.3.Todeepenstudents’interestingrammarlearningandcultivatethestudents’abilitiesoflearningbythemselvesandtoknowwhatistruelove.Aboutthestudents:Thestudentsarerelativelygoodlanguagelearnersinthisgradebutusuallyareafraidtospeakinpublic,thusmakingtheatmospheredullsometimes,inwhichcaseIoftenbrightentheirdaybycreatinglivelyandinterestingactivitiessothattheycanbuilduptheirconfidenceinEnglishandmakegreaterprogress.Naturally,itisdemandingbutrewarding.Teachingkeypoints:

1.Tocultivatethestudents'abilityofthinkinginEnglishbyusingthesubjunctivemoodandknowmoreaboutwhentouseitinacorrectway.2.TogetstudentstolearnandmastertherulesoftheSubjunctiveMood.Teachingdifficultpoints:
