河北教育出版社 八年級(上冊) 暢言教育Unit 5 My futureLesson 26 What will I be? 教材分析本課的教學內容是第五單元的第二課時, 內容主要涉及介紹理想。課前先讓學生自己介紹自己的理想, 課上學生通過小組合作的形式相互交流, 課后學生制作年刊圖頁。在學習過程中, 學生根據(jù)自身優(yōu)勢暢想未來, 并且為了實現(xiàn)理想而努力奮斗。 教學目標【知識與能力目標】記憶單詞page, pilot, fear, height, model短語a fear of heights, stop (from) doing, take steps to。 【過程與方法目標】Reading and speaking【情感態(tài)度價值觀目標】讓學生通過本課的學習, 了解一些職業(yè), 拓展知識面, 并培養(yǎng)學生努力拼搏、積極進取、為實現(xiàn)夢想而努力奮斗的意識。 教學重難點【教學重點】學習一些用于介紹理想的句式: Maybe Ill be an airplane pilot. I would help people travel all around the world. Or maybe Ill be an engineer and build planes. 【教學難點】通過本課的學習培養(yǎng)學生綜合運用語言的能力, 有效提高學生聽、說及閱讀的能力。 課前準備圖片,PPT 教學過程Step. Lead inLeading in 【情景1】Get the Ss to think about the following questions and talk about them in class: What would you like to be in the future?Why?T: This lesson is about Tiantian. She is writing her page for the yearbook about what she will be in the future. Do you know what a yearbook is?Look at the picture and read. 設計意圖讓學生根據(jù)25課課后完成的作文來談論這一話題, 為進一步學習新課和談論做好鋪墊。Leading in 【情景2】Ask the students to talk about their future. They may refer to the following patterns. Show the following on the PPT. PPTMaybe I willI may beI might beS1: Maybe I will be a teacher in the future. S2: I may be a pop singer. Help the students to answer the questions and understand the meanings. T: Would you like to be a pilot? What will you do to overcome it?S2: No. /Yes. I will climb tall mountains. /I will climb tall trees. /I will take a ride in an airplane. 設計意圖用圖片展示新單詞, 讓學生可以對形象生動的圖片產生深刻的印象, 激發(fā)學習興趣, 調動多種感官參與到學習活動中來, 更好地理解單詞的意思以及在語境中的用法。Step . Listening 1. Play the tape for the students. Ask them to fill in the blanks with the words they hear. (1) Tiantian thinks being a pilot is a job. (2) People travel to see their families, for or just for fun. Ask the students to read the lesson silently and answer the questions of Exercise 1 in “Lets Do It!”. 設計意圖培養(yǎng)學生的閱讀能力, 讓學生深入了解課文內容, 能夠使用簡略答語正確回答問題, 并掌握新詞和短語。2. Play the tape again and ask the students to follow the tape. After reading the text, ask them to underline the sentences expressing hopes and wishes. 設計意圖讓學生養(yǎng)成閱讀的好習慣, 跟讀標準語音, 注意主要句子的重讀和停頓。3. Explain the following sentences. 教材解讀1. Maybe Ill be an airplane pilot. maybe為副詞, 意為“可能、也許”, 通常用于句首; may be是“情態(tài)動詞may+系動詞be”, 意為“可能是, 可能在”, 用于主語后作謂語。Maybe you are right. =You may be right. 你也許是對的?!就卣埂扛痹~ maybe 可單獨用作答語, 但 may be不可以。Do you think hell come back?你認為他會回來嗎?Maybe/Maybe not. 也許會回來/也許不會回來。2. I have a fear of heights, but that wont stop me from being a pilot. have a fear of相當于be afraid of, 意思是“害怕, 擔憂”。have a fear of heights 表示“恐高”。stop sb. from doing sth. 表示“阻止某人做某事”, 相當于stop sb. doing sth. 。The heavy rain stopped us from coming on time. 這場大雨使我們不能按時到達。3. I can take small steps to overcome my fear. step意為“措施, 腳步”。She took a few steps towards the window. 她向窗戶走了幾步?!竟潭ù钆洹縯ake steps to do sth. 采取措施做某事。You should take steps to stop him playing computer games. 你應該采取措施阻止他玩電腦游戲。4. I might build a new type of plane someday. People would feel safer and more comfortable in my plane. 句中的might和would都是情態(tài)動詞, 表示一種想像、假設和可能性。I would fly to England to visit my friends this summer. 我想今年夏天飛到英國去看望我的朋友。He might be an airplane pilot in the future. 他將來可能會是一名飛行員。someday也可寫作some day, 常用作副詞, 意為“將來的某一天, 總有一天”, 通常用于一般將來時態(tài)中。feel safer and more comfortable 表示“感覺更安全、更舒適”, safer 和 more comfortable 分別是 safe 和 comfortable 的比較級, 和系動詞feel 構成系表結構, 表狀態(tài)。Step .
