新目標(biāo)七年級(jí)英語(yǔ)下冊(cè)第九單元 What does she look like? 第一課時(shí)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)1.記憶單詞: straight, tall, medium, height, thin, heavy, build短語(yǔ): look like, short/long/curly/straight hair, of medium height/build 2.掌握和運(yùn)用詢問(wèn)、描述人物外貌的句型:What does he look like? Hes really tall.3. 通過(guò)聽力訓(xùn)練能夠掌握描述人物外貌的表達(dá)方式。4. 通過(guò)談?wù)撏饷?培養(yǎng)學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交流的習(xí)慣。 二、教學(xué)內(nèi)容1.學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用描述人物外貌的形容詞和短語(yǔ):look like, short/long/curly/straight hair, of medium height/build 2.學(xué)會(huì)談?wù)撏饷驳木湫?What does he look like? Hes of medium height.3.培養(yǎng)用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交流的習(xí)慣。 三、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)1.掌握有關(guān)人物外貌的形容詞、短語(yǔ)和句型。2.能夠用英語(yǔ)談?wù)撊宋锏耐饷病?四、教學(xué)思路本課時(shí)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容是人教版七年級(jí)下冊(cè)英語(yǔ)第九單元的第一課時(shí),這一課時(shí)在整個(gè)單元中起到了非常重要的作用。本堂課先由一段大頭兒子和小頭爸爸的視頻導(dǎo)入本單元的話題:What does he look like? 接著用chant和全身反應(yīng)法進(jìn)行身體各部位名稱的復(fù)習(xí)。然后呈現(xiàn)一些學(xué)生熟悉并喜歡的明星圖片來(lái)操練本課的核心詞匯和句型,同時(shí)向?qū)W生灌輸情感教育:“不可以貌取人”。接下來(lái)用課本的聽力訓(xùn)練作為語(yǔ)言的輸入。輸入之后是一個(gè)語(yǔ)言輸出的環(huán)節(jié),也就是一個(gè)說(shuō)的環(huán)節(jié)。在這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)里,設(shè)計(jì)幾個(gè)活動(dòng):小組對(duì)話、唱歌、讀短文拼圖等。為了使學(xué)生語(yǔ)言習(xí)得在輕松、自然、愉悅的環(huán)境中進(jìn)行,在教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)中,活動(dòng)將貫穿整個(gè)課堂。 五、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備設(shè)計(jì)教學(xué)PPT,錄音機(jī),多媒體,相應(yīng)的視頻,明星的圖片,假發(fā),墨鏡。 六、教學(xué)過(guò)程Step.Lead inLeading in 【情景1】1.T: (Greet the class.) Mr./Ms.T: How many people are there in your family?Ss: Three./Four./Five.T: Who are they?Ss: They are mother, father andT: Is your father short?Ss: Yes./No.T: Is your mother beautiful?Ss:T: What about her hair?Ss:T: In this unit, well learn how to describe peoples looks.Do you like to learn it?Ss:設(shè)計(jì)意圖本單元主要話題是描述人的外貌,因此從復(fù)習(xí)家庭成員的名稱入手,并用已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)的形容詞對(duì)家庭成員進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的描述。進(jìn)而自然地過(guò)渡到本單元的話題,這樣以舊帶新能幫助學(xué)生擴(kuò)展思維。Step.Presentation(2a) 1.Show pictures of some famous starsT: Look at the first picture.Who is he/she?Ss:He/She is T: What does he/she look like?Help Ss to say:He/She has curly hair.Repeat the word “curly”.Then present the other words: “straight, tall, medium, height, thin, heavy, build” in the same way.設(shè)計(jì)意圖用學(xué)生喜歡的明星的圖片來(lái)展示新單詞,加深學(xué)生對(duì)單詞的感性認(rèn)識(shí),調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生識(shí)記單詞的興趣。2.Read the new words aloudShow the new words on the PPT together.T: Read the new words after me together.Curly, straight, tall, medium, height, thin, heavy, build.Ss:Curly, straight, tall, medium, height, thin, heavy, build.T: Now read the new words by yourselves.Try to remember them as quickly as you can.Ss:3.A gameShow pictures without the words first, then the words appear after Ss say them.Let the Ss say out the words according to the pictures.For example, seeing a picture of curly hair, they should say “curly hair”.If they can not say the words quickly, help them repeat the words some times.4.MatchMatch the words with the people in the picture in 1a.【Keys】 1a: Answers will vary.Sample answers:1.e,f2.b,h3.a4.a,e,f5.h6.f7.g 8.c9.d設(shè)計(jì)意圖多次重復(fù)誦讀單詞,強(qiáng)化單詞的記憶。簡(jiǎn)單的單詞游戲既調(diào)動(dòng)了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性又強(qiáng)化了單詞記憶。Step .Present the sentence patterns1.Present the important sentence pattern“What does he look like?” by showing the pictures on the multi-media.For example:T: Look at the first picture.Who is he?Ss: He is Yao Ming.T: What does he look like?Ss: He is tall.2.Practice the sentence patternsDivide the Ss into two groups:the boy group and the girl group to practice the patterns by looking at the pictures.The teacher should explain these words.教材解讀1.What does he look like? 詢問(wèn)某人的外貌常用句型:“What +do/does +主語(yǔ)+look like?”回答時(shí)可用:主語(yǔ)+be+形容詞/主語(yǔ)+have/has+形容詞+名詞。 He is tall and thin.他既高又瘦。He has long hair.他留著長(zhǎng)發(fā)。look like是固定短語(yǔ),意思是“看起來(lái)像”。 She looks like her father.她看起來(lái)像她的父親?!就卣埂縧ook作連系動(dòng)詞時(shí),意為“看起來(lái)”,后加形容詞作表語(yǔ),如:look happy(看起來(lái)高興),look young (看起來(lái)年輕)。另外,look 還可以作不及物動(dòng)詞,意為“看”,后接賓語(yǔ)時(shí)與at連用,強(qiáng)調(diào)看的動(dòng)作;強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)果時(shí)用動(dòng)詞see。2.She is of medium height, and she has long straight hair. 此句是用來(lái)描述人的外貌的常用句型。 表示某人中等身材或中等個(gè)頭時(shí),其結(jié)構(gòu)是:主語(yǔ)+ be + of + medium build/height.He is of medium build.他中等身材。表示某人長(zhǎng)著或留著時(shí),則常用“主語(yǔ)+have/has+名詞”。He has a big nose.他長(zhǎng)著個(gè)大鼻子。設(shè)計(jì)意圖選擇非??鋸埖娜宋飯D像作為語(yǔ)言訓(xùn)練的素材,讓學(xué)生一看到就想說(shuō)點(diǎn)什么。用同樣的方法去呈現(xiàn)其他句子。Step .
