UNIT 4 What Are Yon Doing?第一課時(shí)界首實(shí)驗(yàn)學(xué)校 :劉志強(qiáng)一 教學(xué)目標(biāo)與要求 能夠聽、說、讀、寫動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)的ing形式:cooking dinner, drawing pictures, dong the dishes, answering the phone, reading a book。 能通過具體而典型的情景體會(huì)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)的用法,能運(yùn)用句子What are you doing? 詢問別人正在做什么,并能用 I an doing the dishes/這一陳述句作答。 通過說唱Lets chant 部分的歌謠鞏固復(fù)習(xí)Lets learn 部分的動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)和句子。二 教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)分析 本課時(shí)需要重點(diǎn)掌握五個(gè)動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)的ing 形式,能夠理解下一個(gè)課時(shí)的主要句型“What are you doing?”并能用“I am doing the dishes/”作答。 本課時(shí)的難點(diǎn)有二,其一是動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)ing形式的讀音,特別是加-ing之后的連讀,教師要多做示范,逐步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生流暢的連讀;其二是如何引導(dǎo)學(xué)生感知、理解現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)所表達(dá)的含義。三 課前準(zhǔn)備1. 教師準(zhǔn)備各種動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)卡片,圖片。2. 教師準(zhǔn)備鍋、鏟、電話、碗碟等小道具。3. 教師準(zhǔn)備實(shí)物投影儀。四 教學(xué)步驟Step1.Warm-upT: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. First, let me introduce myself. Im Liu Zhiqiang. My English name is Simon. So you can call me Mr Liu or Simon. ( Good , say hello to me please.).1. T: Now lets warm up before class. Please follow me. Do as I do.( do some activities like eat/ drink/ read/ write/ swim/ fly and so on.) Good job, let s go on.2. T: Now lets do some phrases: set the table/ sweep the floor/ do the dishes/ cook the meals3. T: Now lets listen to a song: I Can Help. Please listen carefully, then answer my questions.(Show the words on the screen, doing the activities while singing with the Ss.)Now I ask you, what can you do (at home)?Can you set the table?Can you sweep the floor?Can you cook the meals?Can you do the dishes?Now look at the pictures, and tell us what can you do in the picture?( Ask some Ss look and say.) You can use I can(Great./ Well done./Wonderful.)Step2Presentation1. Leading into “What are you doing?”T:(Take out a basketball.)Look, boys and girls. Whats this? Do you like playing basketball? (Do the action) Please look at me. What am I doing? ( you can tell them to say it in Chinese Im playing basketball). You can ask me: What are you doing? (write the topic on the blackboard)2. Ask me together. (Do the action again and answer ) I am playing basketball. Good. Today well learn Unit4 What are you doing? in this class.(1) Doing the dishes using free talkT: Point to a girl and ask whats your name. Say hello to her and have a free talk with her.) Hello, little girl, whats your namez?T: Can you do housework, _?S1: T: What can you do? Or Can you do the dishes?S1: T: Great. You are helpful.T: Hello, What can you do at home?S2: Good boy/girl. Youre helpful. Boys and girls, can you do housework”Ss: Yes.T: Youre helpful. Please guess what can I do at home. Look carefully. ( do the action of doing the dishes and ask Ss guess) You can use “Can you ?”T: Yes. I can do the dishes. Who can write it on the board. ( ask a volunteer to come to the blackboard and write the phrase. Ask him or her to wait a minute. The teacher do the action and say I am doing the dishes now. Please have a try).T: What are you doing?S: I am doing the dishes. ( Write doing the dishes on the board model the pronounciation of do add-ing. Again write I am =Im before it). Model the sentence and ask Ss repeat.T: This time, lets pass the dish one by one, and ask “What are you doing” (Model the the sentence three or four times and begin to pass the dish. When the teacher say stop, the one who holding the dish should say I am doing the dishes.(2) Cooking dinner(Ask the last one) You can do the dishes. Can you cook dinner? S3: Yes I can. ( Youre helpful. Please do the action .)S3: No, I cant. (Encourage the S with You cant ? cook eggs, can you? What about noodles?)( Write cook dinner on the board. Explain cook dinner means cook the meals.) Here is a pot, who can ask me with the sentence.(Point to the topic) Yes , Im cooking dinner. Im cooking fish. Mmm, its yummy. (3) Reading a bookWonderful. Please come here. This is for you. (give a story book to a S as a praise.) Please sit on the chair and read it. Point to the S and say Hes reading a book. Write the phrase on the board.T: What are you doing?S: (4) Drawing picturesT: (lead Ss try to read the phrase with ing behind it. Who can help her? Wonderful, this is for you. I have many books here. (Give some books to the Ss and let them read carefully.) Oh, Youre reading a Chinese book. Youre reading an English book. And you are reading a picture book. (show the pictures on the screen. Pictures, beautiful pictures. Can you draw pictures? ( Draw something on the board .You can draw a tree, a path, a floor, an apple and so on.)( oh, good job)(5)Answering the phoneT:(at that time, the bell rings) Im sorry. Please wait a minute. Let me answer the phone. ( Hello. Its Mr liu. Im busy. Im having an English class now. Bye. (Teach answer the phone after putting down the phone.)Step3. Pratice1. Listen to the tame. Listen, point and repeat.2. Can you hear what are they talking about? Listen again and repeat. (Good.) I prepare some other pictures here, lets do it in pairs. This group you ask the question, and this group you answer the question. (Wonderful,) Now, lets change the roles. You ask and you answer. (Ss practice the dialog again.)3. Lets chant. (Show it on the screen page44, saying and doing.)4. Listen again. Ask Ss do it in groups. (Tell them when you ask somebody, you should look at them. Just like this. Model the action.)5. Playing a Chain Game.(Show the picture on the screen, have Ss look at the picture). This is a Chain Game. Can you do it. Now lets ask two groups come to the front and do the game, each group 6 Ss. Lets see which group is better. (Ask two groups of volunteers to come to the front. Of course tell them the rules clearly and see which group is better. Use the real objects.)S
