Unit 6 Im watching TV.(Section A1a-2b)I. 教材分析本單元內容設計是圍繞“everyday activities”這一個話題“談論現(xiàn)在正在進行或發(fā)生的動作”,主要的教學內容是現(xiàn)在進行時,以“What are you doing?”這一主題引出現(xiàn)在進行時的一般疑問句,否定句以及特殊疑問句等語言功能。這一話題貼近學生的日常生活,語言素材源于學生生活實際,因此有助于提高學生學習英語的興趣。本節(jié)課是第一課時,學生在這一節(jié)課中將初步掌握現(xiàn)在進行時的用法及問答。它既是本單元的基本語言內容,又為本單元知識的繼續(xù)學習、拓展和綜合運用語言,奠定堅實的基礎,在本單元有重要的作用。II. Teaching Aims: 1. knowledge objects: a. vocabulary:newspaper, read a newspaper, use, soup, make soup, wash, movie, go to the moviesb. sentence structure:What are you doing? I am watching TV .What is he/she doing ? He/She is doing homework.What are they doing? They are eating dancing.2. Ability objects: 將現(xiàn)在進行時靈活適時地運用到日常學習和生活中去。3. Moral objects: 在趣味話題的激勵下,誘導學生積極參與,充分調動他們的學習興趣,并注重培養(yǎng)學生的合作競爭能力和自主探究學習的能力。III.Teaching key points and difficult points: Key points:What are you doing? I am v-ing. What is he doing? He is v-ing. Difficult points:現(xiàn)在進行時中現(xiàn)在分詞的結構及讀音,能在交際中準確地運用現(xiàn)在進行時來描述或表達正在進行的動作。IV. Teaching Methods: PPT, cooperative learning, Pair-work, Pictures. V. Teaching proceduresStep1 Warming-up1Greetings2.presentation.Present the new words by showing some pictures. Step2 lead in. Im reading a newspaper. What are you doing? The teacher plays an activity and lead in the topic of this class. What are you doing? -Im Step3practice the sentence struture. 1. What is he/she doing? I am learning English領會現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)。為接下來的學習做好鋪墊.)2.Show some pictures of activities on the screen and present the sentence structure.T: Whats she/he doing? Ss: She/He is playing basketball Ask and answer in pairs and then Ask groups of students to practice the target language.(設計意圖:通過多媒體有趣圖片的展示,讓學生學習和感受現(xiàn)在進行時的第三人稱的結構和用法以及現(xiàn)在分詞的構成,反復訓練并為下一步學習和聽力訓練做好準備)Step4 SS do 1aGet the students to match the pictures and phrases. Then check the answers.Step5. Pair work1.Ask the Ss to read the conversations in groups. Then look at the pictures in1a. And every group make conversations about other person in the picture and show.(設計意圖:利用小組競爭機制,充分調動學生的積極性,增強了學習效果)Step6. Listening 1. Work on2a;T: I have two friends Jack and Steve. Jack and Steve are talking on the phone. What are they doing now? Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions.(Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and match the answers with the questions. )Check the answers. (設計意圖:聽力一直是學生學習英語的難點。第一步只是讓學生聽,注意發(fā)音和語調;第二步讓學生根據(jù)聽力內容完成練習題。)2. Work on 2b.Let Ss look through the information in 2b first. Then play the recording for the Ss tw.The first time Ss only listen and write down the words in the blanks. Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. (If necessary, press the Pause button to help.)Ss pratice the conversation and show.Step 7 Exercises.1. choose the correct answer for each one. 2. fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words. 3 .Ss answer it Give one pointer to group that answer correctly.(設計意圖:引導學生學會觀察、歸納、總結現(xiàn)在進行時的構成規(guī)律及用法,后做練習加以鞏固。充分發(fā)揮小組合作學習的優(yōu)勢,使其自主學習,自主探究,使學生積極加入到學習中,充分調動了學生的學習積極性)Step8 Summary1.To sum up the new words and important phrases.2.To sum up the usage of the present progressive tense.(設計意圖:通過教師點撥這一環(huán)節(jié),學生就能更好地明確自己在哪方面需要改進了。)Step9. Homework1. Read and remember the words and sentences.2. Write the conversation in 2b down.3.
