Sam has longer hair than Tom. She also sings more loudly than Tara. 3、情感目標(biāo):能對(duì)人物的外表進(jìn)行描繪,個(gè)性進(jìn)行比較。二 、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn):1) 形容詞或副詞比較級(jí)形式的構(gòu)成。 2) 表示兩者進(jìn)行比較的句式結(jié)構(gòu)。三、教學(xué)方法:“五步、雙重教學(xué)法”四、教具準(zhǔn)備:課文錄音 多媒體使用:無五、教學(xué)過程:(一)復(fù)習(xí)舊知Greeting and talk about what you often do on weekends.(二)新課導(dǎo)學(xué) Ask Ss to write down as many adj. about people as possible. Check the adj. Ss write and we can group them into some pairs, like: Section A 1atall - short; thin - heavy, long hair - short hair,quietly - loudlyearly ,friendly, funny, outgoing, hard-working, smartLazy, fast, high, hard, early.Give Ss an example by comparing two students in the class.e.g. Xu is older than Chen.Chen is taller thanXu. (三) 自學(xué)新知Summarize the Comparatives. 形容詞或副詞的比較級(jí)形式:1.一般在詞尾 + er 2.以不發(fā)音的字母 e 結(jié)尾的 + r 3.重讀閉音節(jié)詞詞尾只有一個(gè)輔音字母時(shí),先雙寫輔音字母再 + er4.以輔音字母 + y 結(jié)尾的單 詞,變 y 為 i + er 5.多音節(jié)詞和部分雙音節(jié)詞前加more.Then Show some adjectives or adverbs. Let Ss add -er, -r or -ier to them. (四)檢測(cè)新學(xué)1.finish 1a2. Then listen to the recording. Ask Ss to number the twins.Check the answers. 3Work on 2a: Point out the two columns and read the headings: -er, -ier and more. Then point out the words in the box. Read them.Say, now listen and write the er and ier words in the first column and the words that use more in the second column. Play the recording and check the answers.Work on 2b.Point out the picture and the two boxes with the headings Tina is and Tara is.Say, listen to the recording. Write word in the boxes. The words are from the list in activity 2a. 五)鞏固新知Pair work 1. Point out the chart in activity 2c. Say, Make your own conversations according to the information. Ask pairs to continue on their own.2. Ss practice their conversations.3. Daily greeting. 2. Check the homework. 與兩年前的自我進(jìn)行比較:Im more outgoing than I was two years ago. 。(二)新課導(dǎo)學(xué) Show a maxim to Ss: A friend indeed is a friend in need. Ask, what kind of things are important in a friend? (三) 自學(xué)新知1. Read each description to the class and ask the Ss to repeat.What kind of things is important in a friend? Rank the things below 1-6 (1 is most important)Ask different Ss to copy the six phrases on the Bb. Then read the phrases together.2Work on 1b: 1.) Well, every one of you has his own idea. Now please talk about what you think a good friend should be like in groups of four. First read the example dialogue, and then make your dialogue about friends using the phrases in activity 1a. 2.) Ss try to write their own sentences. (四)檢測(cè)新學(xué) Listening 1. Next you will hear an interviewer talking to Molly and Mary. What are they talking about? When I play the recording for the first time, you just listen carefully and give me the answer. Have you got it? Yes, they are talking about their best friends. Now look at the chart, and write the things that Molly and Mary like about their best friends. You can write only words and phrases. Lets check your answers.3. T: Now lets work on 1c. Lets listen to the tape again and fill in the rest of the chart in 1c. 4. Ss listen to the tape and fill in the chart. 5. Check the answers: 聽力指導(dǎo):要抓他們之間的相似之處與不同之處,這兩個(gè)重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容。因此在聽的時(shí)候,應(yīng)重點(diǎn)將人物及動(dòng)作這兩個(gè)方面的聽清,其他作為非重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容。 (五)鞏固新知 Group work ,Work in groups. Say, now work with your partner. Make a conversation using information in the chart.Ask several pairs to say their conversations to the class. Let some Ss read their sentences.(二)新課導(dǎo)學(xué) Lets meet three new friends, Jeff Green, Huang Lei and Mary Smith.Lets look at 2b. (三) 自學(xué)新知Quickly reading 1.What are they like? What do they think of their friends? Now read the passages Underline the differences between the friends and circle the similarities. 2. Let some Ss read the passage quickly and underline the differences and circle the similarities. Then let another Ss read aloud these sentences. 3. Check the answers with the Ss. (四)檢測(cè)新學(xué)Careful reading1. Let Ss read the sentences in 2c. Make sure they know the meaning of these sentences. 2. Let Ss read the passages again and judge these sentences are True or False.3. Ss read and find the answers to the questions.4. Check the answers. (五)鞏固新知1. T: Now lets think of you and your friends. How do you and your friends compare with the people in the article? Write five sentences. 2. 方法指導(dǎo):首先,應(yīng)思考一下自己及自己朋友的特點(diǎn);然后,認(rèn)真與短文所提及的人物進(jìn)行對(duì)比。寫出明確的比較句。注意運(yùn)用正確的比較句:句型指導(dǎo): A + be different from B because + 兩者比較句 A + be similar to B because + 兩者比較句 3. Ss try to write their sentences. 4. Let some Ss read aloud their sentences to the class. Have a dictation of the new words and expressions. 2. Ask some Ss to compare themselves and their friends. (二)新課導(dǎo)學(xué) Describe the Ss in the classroom. She is tall/short. She is popular/serious/hardworking. be + 形容詞 She has long straight hair/ short straight hair. have/has hairShe likes reading/sportslikes (三) 自學(xué)新知3a1. T: Wang Lingling and Liu Lili are best friends. Look at the chart below and compare them. 2. 寫作指導(dǎo):閱讀表格中的描述;分析描述詞的特點(diǎn);是用形容詞還是用動(dòng)詞進(jìn)行描述;根據(jù)在導(dǎo)入總結(jié)的句式結(jié)構(gòu)來對(duì)學(xué)生們進(jìn)行描述。相似的地方,可以用both來共同表達(dá)出來;不同的地方,可以用比較的句式表達(dá)出來。3.
