She described a truthful picture of her world, especially the marriage and love betwee n gen tlema n and ladies by her meticulous fe

4、minine observati on.The style of her works is humorous and rich in comic con flicts, so many readers love them. From the late eighteenthto thenin etee nth cen tury, vulgar and bori ng sen time ntal no vels and gothic novels were full in British literary. But Jane s noveliiconoclasticshowed mid-class

6、e? Elizabeth and Darcy s story can expla in. Darcy loved Elizabeth at first sight at the ball. But the arrogant character caused by the growing en vir onmentstopped his in itiatively close to Elizabeth.Elizabeth as anyone else believed he is haughty and stubbor n. The more Darcy loved Elizabeth, the

7、 more he would not show n on the surface in stead ing of maki ng apathy. He thought if Elizabeth would be proud after knowing he loved her, so his character of pride stopped this happe ning. Elizabeth prejudiced against Darcydeeper and deeper. In her eyes, heeven became a sinister, hypocritical peop

8、le. As Darcy more loved Elizabeth, he fin ally was un able to restrain to show his love to Elizabeth. He certa in ly thought Elizabeth would accept, but he did n t know how about his image in Elizabeth s eyes. So he was surprised when Elizabeth refused him. His arroganee had suffered a blow. But fro

Mr.Bin gley was a frien dly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, was a very proud man who seemed to always feel superior.Eve n the five daughters in Bennet family were very differe nt.Jane was simple, inno

12、cent and never spoke evil of others. Elizabeth was a clever girl who always had her own opi nio n.Mary liked readi ng classic books. Actually she was a peda nt.Kitty did n t have her own opi nio n but liked to follow her sister,Lydia. Lydia was a girl who followedexotic things,handsomeman, and was s

13、omehow a little profligate. Ipers on ally like Elizabeth best, not only because she was clever and beautiful, but she was a pers on who knew clearly of her thoughts. She was not afraid to express what she felt, and had no fear of being embarrassed, for nothing hon est should be shameful to her. Be t

Just because of this quality, she had her own mind in love, and she and Darcy composed a won derful family after passed various troubles.The first sentence in this book is impressive. The un dert one is very clear: the foun dati on of the marriage at that time is not emoti on but possessi on.As far as I con sidered, people can t divide people by rich and poor. Every one is equal on every aspect s

16、uch as character andkno wledge.No one can be arroga ntbecause ofwealthi ness or high status, and also can t be self-abased with economic poverty. This truth relating to our daily life is like that we should not be proud or produce arroganee mood whe n we make a few achieveme nts,. Lear ning is en dl

17、ess. We should know that there must be many people clever than ourselves. We must thi nk out a way to study better tha n others.The vanity is caused by prejudice in the text. One cannot dist in guish good and bad just because the beautiful and uglyappeara nee. Elizabeth hated Darcy because of Darcy
