3、 the rapid development of our country in all aspects, but these reforms also bring some negative impact on the labor market, for example, in the process of employment there are a large number of violations of the principle of fair employment phenomenon that obey the principle of EEO. 1. The definiti

4、on of EEO, the importance of EEO, international provisions relating to EEOEEO is the abbreviation of equal employment opportunity, it is a principle that companies should follow when they are recruiting. Although there are many items that companies should take into consideration when they are recrui

5、ting, EEO policies must be the fundamental principle. EEO legislation requires fair treatment for all members of the community and the elimination of discrimination. It means selecting the best person for the job in terms of their job-related skills. Thus, candidates should be treated fairly irrespe

6、ctive of differences in race, sex, religion, nationality or other non-job-related factors. Good human resource management demands that organizations have well-defined EEO objectives and policies. In turn, these must be communicated to all employees and must be clearly seen to have top management sup

7、port. EEO policies are first appeared in the United States. At that time, the federal government has set some limits on how an organization can practice human resource management. Among these limits are requirements intended to: first, prevent discrimination in hiring and employment practices; secon

8、d, protect the safety and health of workers while they are on the job. Only company which can skillfully navigate the maze of regulations can gain an advantage over competitors. Thats why EEO policies are so significant during the organizations operation. Equal employment opportunity is the conditio

9、n in which all race, color, religion, sex, disability, or national origin. The federal government has not only set some limits, but also established some regulations of human resource management. All three branches of the government played an important role in creating a legal environment for human

10、resource management. First was the legislative. Two houses of congress were in charge of enacting laws governing human resource activities. Second was the executive. Includes many regulatory agencies were in charge of enforcing laws passed by Congress. Third was the judicial. The federal court syste

11、m was in charge of interpreting law and holding trials. Now, there are three major federal laws in the United States. The federal governments efforts to create equal employment opportunity include enact the constitutional amendments, legislate and promulgate executive orders. Among the amendments to

12、 the United States Constitution, two amendments have implications for human resource management, first is the thirteenth amendment, which abolishes Americas slavery; second is the fourteenth amendment, which prohibits country seizing citizens lives, freedom and property illegally and denying citizen

13、s have the right to be protected fairly by laws. 2. Examples of violations of EEO in Chinese organizations, reasons why Chinese organizations had made such decisionsSociology of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences the research group of "against employment discrimination and promote equality in e

Thus, we can draw a conclusion that at present, China's employment discrimination issues to be solved are employmen

19、t discriminations against age, diploma, experience, gender and special group. Chinas realization of equal employment opportunity is not optimistic.December 2005, China Central Television did an online survey about employment discrimination. The results showed that 74% of job seekers encountered disc

20、rimination in employment. Another survey data show that in our job market, almost 90% of the job ads containing discriminatory provisions, including age discrimination, gender discrimination, discrimination in education, household discrimination, discrimination and even physical geographic discrimin

21、ation, such as height, looks, etc. Vulnerable groups in the workforce, looking for a job, get paid, the problem is not because of the ability to work, but because of accounts, work experience, gender, physical condition and other reasons, by the social unfair treatment. Problems of unfair employment

22、 are so prominent, so that our country has a huge economic and social impact. First is the legislative level, existing laws lack of provisions for equal employment rights, equal employment rights also faced discrimination policy and legislation itself, equal employ

28、ment rights provisions of the policy is too strong and the legal system is too weak. Second is the law enforcement level, Lack of the provisions of legislation on the enforcement, the construction of law enforcement agencies is very slow, Law enforcement and supervision mechanism is not perfect, enf

29、orcement efficiency is still low. Third is the judicial level, equal employment rights and employment discrimination disputes in China's traditional justice system has been marginalized. As for the social problems of Chinas equal employment opportunity, there are also three reasons can account f

30、or it. First is the employment aspect. Employees usually have weak legal awareness, and their pre-employment and self-employment rights awareness is not strong, so that they can not have an equal employment opportunity. Second is the social aspect. Because of China's large population, society ca

31、n provide limited employment opportunities, leading to the emergence of a large number of employment discrimination. Third is the employer aspect. On the one hand, the Equal Employment Opportunity employer's lack of awareness of relevant laws, resulting in the world employing more and more peopl

32、e encounter obstacles; hand, employers in hiring talent still exists a lot of discrimination. For example, first, our government can increase efforts to support vulnerable groups: Many job opportunities resulting element of unfairness, it is impossible or can be solved in a short time, wh
