4、alf-dead already," they become friends as they undergo their respective treatments.Carter had a secret pamphlet, and he noted the dreams he desires to realize but have not, so he calls them the bucket list. Edward sees this list paper by accident. This person who has never a religious faith but

On the top of the Great Pyramid, they talk about faith and family. The movie reveals tha

7、t Carter has been feeling less in love with his wife for long and that Edward is deeply hurt by his only daughter, who disowned him after he sent some people to get rid of her abusive husband. In Hong Kong, Edward hires a prostitute for Carter. Carter rejects, realizing that he loves his wife so he

8、asks to return. On the way back, Carter tries to reunite Edward with his daughter but Edward angrily storms off. Carter returns home to meet his wife, children, and grandchildren where they have a nice family dinner. But later, Carter falls down because of his severe decease. Unfortunately, he dies

9、a few days later. As Carter dies, Edward finally attempts to reconcile with his daughter. She not only accepts him back into her life but introduces him to his granddaughter he never knew he had. After greeting the little girl with a kiss on the cheek, Edward crosses "kiss the most beautiful gi

10、rl in the world" off the list.The ending reveals that Edward lives until age 81, and his ashes are then taken to the Himalayas by his assistant Matthew. As Matthew places the can along another can, he crosses off the last item on the Bucket List -witness something truly majestic, and places it

11、between the cans.I think, in some ways, Carter can be regarded as the hero in this movie. The hero is the protagonist. He will start the story and make important decisions or actions within the story. In this movie, no doubt that Carter is one of the main characters and to my understanding, he is th

12、e most important. It is he who first starts to take down the goals on the bucket list. He also makes several meaningful decisions like traveling with Edward regardless of his wifes preventing. And in Hong Kong, he eventually realizes that he loves only his wife and instantly requires leaving for hom

13、e. In addition, he helps and encourages Edward to reunite with his daughter. Usually, the hero has to sacrifice. It is a tragedy that he dies not long after he returns home. From this perspective, he seems to sacrifice.Edward plays a role as mentor. A mentor will motivate the hero, help him to overc

14、ome fear and uncertainty, guide him to an understanding of right and wrong. During the traveling, Edward always encourages Carter to take some adventures. Especially on the plane, Edward help Carter to overcome fear and uncertainty when he is afraid of jumping out form the plane at such a high altit

15、ude. In Hong Kong, owing to his arrangement for Carter, Carter can find himself his deep love towards his wife. By contrast, sometimes, Carter also is a mentor.
