4、o are in their second year of a junior middle school. In my teaching I have found listening ability is the worse of four skill aspect. Because of the pressure of the test, listening usually is neglected in class. In addition, classroom- hours allocated to listening are rather limited. Then, how to i
5、mprove students listening skill in the limited time is thought over by me.Analyze the problem using scientific methods of investigationv analyzing the problem:vProblem analysisv The surveyvsurveyed with questionnaires a class of fifty students chosen at random in Grade 2vData Analysis and FindingsvI
6、n class which I taught, most of them have some forms of listening classes according to the test, another 15% had other forms of listening classes, such as dictating words, but not more than an hour in a week. Only 25% of them had listening classes regularly.v analyzing the teaching objectivesvMy res
7、earch objective is to solve some problems which the students meet in English listening and improve the skills in listening.v analyzing the possible causes of the identified problemvI provided some possible solutions which are as follows:v2.5.1 Help the students with their phonological problems inclu

10、the project is to enhance my students interest and improve their listening ability in doing listening practice in class. In my study, I used the analytic method, cause analysis, questionnaire survey and brainstorming activation. I also used data. From the data, I think the methods used in problem analysis are suitable, the problem objective is realistic. I am very happy to see that most of my students like to listen to English and their listening ability is improve
