1、牛津高中英語(yǔ)模塊十Unit3 Protecting Ourselves 教材分析本單元以介紹危及人身體健康的幾個(gè)因素、人們當(dāng)今面臨的疾病和人們防治疾病的方法為主題。共由 Welcome to the unit, Reading, Word power, Grammar and usage,Task, Project 和 Self-assessment七個(gè)部分組成，由Welcome to the Unit 的四幅圖片引出話題，開(kāi)展一系列聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)的活動(dòng)。并完成相關(guān)的任務(wù)與要求，最后以 Self-assessment自我評(píng)估表及相關(guān)練習(xí)來(lái)檢測(cè)學(xué)生對(duì)本單元內(nèi)容的掌握情況。1. Welcome t

2、o the UnitStudents are presented with four posters, three of which show some bad habits- smoking, drinking and doing drugs that can damage peoples health. The other one is about the disease Aids. The students are expected to discuss three questions related to the topics of these posters.在這一堂課中，生動(dòng)的畫(huà)面

ReadingThe Reading text is a TV news special transcript about the deadly disease of Aids. Students will gain more knowledge of what Aids is and how people can be

4、come infected by it. They will learn how to protect themselves from being infected with Aids. They will also learn what can be done to fight the spread of Aids.圍繞 “Reading Strategy”及課文后設(shè)計(jì)的 A,B,C,D,E,F 部分，有針對(duì)性地指導(dǎo)學(xué)生運(yùn)用略讀 (skim)或?qū)ぷx (scan)等技巧進(jìn)行閱讀。并就文章的語(yǔ)言特色，行文風(fēng)格，文體結(jié)構(gòu)等方面進(jìn)行分析， 以幫助學(xué)生更好地理解所讀文章，培養(yǎng)和提高閱讀能力。同時(shí)就這篇

5、文章的主題對(duì)學(xué)生開(kāi)展“潔身自愛(ài)，遠(yuǎn)離艾滋”，“與艾滋做斗爭(zhēng)”等一系列思想政治教育。3.Word powerIn this section, it focuses on words and phrases that mean “to stop bad habits”and three types of abbreviations: general abbreviations, acronyms and initialisms.引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)和強(qiáng)化與本單元有關(guān)的詞匯和短語(yǔ)， 掌握“戒掉壞習(xí)慣” 的多種英語(yǔ)表達(dá)方法，為下一步 writing 做準(zhǔn)備。另外，了解了一些縮寫(xiě)形式的規(guī)則和發(fā)音。4.Gramm

6、ar and usageThe grammar item in this unit focuses on one aspect of the structure of a text the development of a text. Students will learn how a text should be written to allow readers to move from one idea to the next easily. They will get to know that there are four features that can help develop a

A concluding paragraph5.TaskThis section consists of a series of activities which provide students with opportuniti

8、es to practise their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. It is divided into three steps and each step is preceded with a skill building activity. Through the three steps, students will learn how to identify degrees of obligation and cateorize notes about warnings, how to ask for and off

Students will first read a booklet warning young people of the dangers of dr

10、ugs. They can learn some detailed information about drugs, their effects on the body or mind, and the legal punishments for carrying drugs.
