2、習了聽說課的內容又牽引出更多的表達內容。2b是一篇緊扣單元話題食物的閱讀語篇，這篇文章講述了世界范圍內，人們過生日時所吃食物的大致情況，語篇內容豐富，邏輯性強，從世界總的情況細化到英國、中國的人們過生日的具體情況。又通過一個表格，將文章的關鍵信息提煉出來，在學生完成這個表格的填寫任務后，這篇文章的思維結構也就出來了。教材還設置了2c的一系列問題，引導學生們通過精讀，來回答詳細問題，從而加深對語篇的理解。通過本課時的學習，進一步學習生日食物有關的詞匯和短語，同時提高學生對于語篇的綜合理解能力，訓練學生運用不同的閱讀策略分析理解細節(jié)信息，從而得出答案。同時對世界范圍內的生日文化有一個初步的了解，既
