17、認(rèn)識(shí)。他們也沒有一個(gè)認(rèn)識(shí)我的。我感覺自己像是一個(gè)迷了路的陌生人。然而這時(shí)有些男孩開始好奇的打量我其中一個(gè)走過來問到“誰帶你來的9 “我爸爸”我小聲說道。10 “我爸爸死了”他簡短地說。11我不知道該說些什么。這時(shí)學(xué)校的門已經(jīng)關(guān)上了有些孩子哭了起來。接著,鈴響了,一位女士走了過來后面跟著一群男人。那些人把我們排成幾行。使我們形成一個(gè)錯(cuò)綜復(fù)雜的隊(duì)行站在那四周高樓聳立的院子里。每層樓都有長長的陽臺(tái)陽臺(tái)上帶有木制頂棚從陽臺(tái)上可以俯視到我們。12”這是你們的新家”那位女士說道“這兒有你們的父母。一切能帶給你們快樂對(duì)你們有益的事物這兒都有。因此擦干你們的眼淚快快樂樂地面對(duì)生活。”13這樣看來我之前的顧慮都

18、是毫無根據(jù)的了。從一開始我就結(jié)交了許多朋友并且愛上了許多女孩。我從未想過學(xué)校的生活是如此豐富多彩。14我們玩著各種各樣的游戲在音樂室里我們唱著第一次學(xué)會(huì)的歌。我們第一次接觸到了語言的學(xué)習(xí)。我們看見了一個(gè)地球儀旋轉(zhuǎn)它便能看見世界上的各個(gè)大洲和國家的名稱。我們還開始學(xué)習(xí)數(shù)字聽老師將造物主的故事。吃過美味的食物小睡之后我們醒來又繼續(xù)在友誼和愛之中嬉戲?qū)W習(xí)。15然而校園生活并不是完全甜蜜和陽光普照的。我們還必須遵守紀(jì)律耐心聽講。學(xué)校生活也不光是嬉戲和無所事事。同學(xué)間的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)還可能引起痛苦仇恨甚至打斗。雖然那位女士有時(shí)面帶微笑但也經(jīng)常會(huì)對(duì)我們大聲吼叫并責(zé)罵我們甚至更常見的是體罰我們。16另外我們?cè)僖膊荒芨?/p>

19、變主意再也不能回到天堂般的家里了。擺在我們面前的只有努力奮斗和堅(jiān)持不懈。一旦機(jī)會(huì)來了那些有能力的人就會(huì)抓住它們?nèi)カ@取成功和幸福。17鈴響了宣告一天學(xué)校生活的結(jié)束。孩子們匆匆奔向大門這時(shí)大門被打開了。我向我的朋友和“女友們”告完別走出了校門。我四處張望卻沒發(fā)現(xiàn)父親的蹤影。他答應(yīng)我會(huì)在校門外等我的。于是我走到一邊去等他。當(dāng)我等了好久他也沒來的時(shí)候我決定自己回家。我走了幾步卻驚奇地站住了。我的天哪!那條兩邊是花園的街道怎么不見了消失到哪里去了是什么時(shí)候這些車輛闖到馬路上的又是什么時(shí)候這些人來到街道上歇憩的這一座座垃圾堆又是怎樣堆到街道兩旁的街道旁的田野又到哪里去了取而代之的是林立的高樓。街道上擠滿了

20、孩子。嘈雜聲震蕩著空氣。街頭巷尾站著雜耍藝人他們或玩著戲法或是讓蛇從籃子里出現(xiàn)。接著一個(gè)樂隊(duì)奏起了音樂宣布馬戲表演的開始小丑和舉重大力士走在前面。18我的天!我感覺一片茫然頭暈?zāi)垦缀蹩煲偭恕_@一切怎么可能就在從清晨到日落的這半天時(shí)間里發(fā)生或許回到家父親會(huì)告訴我答案的。但是我的家又在哪里我趕緊奔向十字路口因?yàn)槲矣浀靡┻^那條街道才能到家但車流不息我極為惱怒我知何時(shí)才可以過去。19我久久的站在那里直到在街道熨衣店里工作的小男孩向我走來。20他伸出手臂來說道“爺爺我扶您過馬路吧。”LessonTwoGoingHomePeteHamill1. 36、個(gè)女孩又同溫戈坐到了一起。過了一會(huì)兒他就開始講起了他的故事語速緩慢且神情痛苦。在過去的四年里他一直在紐約的監(jiān)獄里服刑現(xiàn)在他要回家了。6 “你成家了嗎”“我不知道?!薄澳悴恢浪f。7 ”是的。我在監(jiān)獄時(shí)曾經(jīng)給我的妻子寫過信我說瑪莎如果你想和我離婚我能理解。我說我要離開很長一段時(shí)間如果他無法忍受如果孩子們不停地問這問那如果這對(duì)她的傷害非常大的話那么她可以把我忘了。再找個(gè)男人一一她是個(gè)非常不錯(cuò)的女人真的不一般一一然后把我忘了。我告訴她不必給我寫信或以其他的方式與我聯(lián)系她也確實(shí)沒再和我聯(lián)系。就這樣已經(jīng)三年半了?!?
