15、NETAPP公司在RAID4技術的根底上進展改良誕生的,主要是參與了WAFL Write Anywhere File Layout 文件系統(tǒng)的特性,并優(yōu)化了文件系統(tǒng)與RAID機制,配合NETAPP的snapshot技術可以實現(xiàn)快速的數(shù)據(jù)備份與恢復。25RAID4+數(shù)據(jù)分布方式26D表示數(shù)據(jù)P表示奇偶校驗的結(jié)果P的結(jié)果是經(jīng)過異或運算得出的,假設某個D損壞后可以經(jīng)過異或運算進展恢復。3+1+2+3=9RAID-DPNETAPP獨有的雙校驗盤RAID技術,DP即Double Parity,在一個RAID中設置兩個校驗盤。RAID4是采用程度行奇偶校驗,RAID-DP是在RAID4的根底上添加了對角線

20、7800N5200N5600N5500DATA ONTAP架構(gòu)35WAFL文件系統(tǒng)NetApp的文件系統(tǒng)名為WAFL,是專為Filer系統(tǒng)而設計的。WAFL是Write Anywhere File Layout,即恣意位置寫入文件規(guī)劃的縮寫。WAFL文件系統(tǒng)和Filer的整合式RAID管理采用一體化設計,以防止大多數(shù)帶有RAID管理機制的文件系統(tǒng)所固有的性能問題。WAFL的主要特點及其所帶來的優(yōu)勢包括: 1、永遠一致性的文件系統(tǒng) 2、具電池維護的NVRAM日志 3、內(nèi)建智能型最正確化的RAID磁盤陣列管理系統(tǒng) 4、能增長的文件系統(tǒng) 5、硬盤區(qū)塊驗證系統(tǒng) Block-level Checksum

21、 6、瞬間快照備份 (Snapshot) 7、WAFL將固定耗費10%的硬盤空間,這是無法釋放的36IBM Systems and Technology GroupIBM Confidential 2007 IBM CorporationSnapShot和SnapRestoreSnapshot技術原理SnapShot是WAFL文件系統(tǒng)“恣意位置寫入功能帶來的一項突出優(yōu)勢。 一份SnapShot是文件系統(tǒng)的在線只讀拷貝。創(chuàng)建文件系統(tǒng)的一份SnapShot僅僅需求幾秒種的時間,并且除非原始文件被刪除或者更改,數(shù)據(jù)快照并不占用額外的磁盤空間。這種只需當數(shù)據(jù)塊發(fā)生改動時才進展數(shù)據(jù)塊復制的技術被稱作“c

22、opy-on-write,只需修正活動文件系統(tǒng)中的數(shù)據(jù)塊并寫入磁盤中新的位置時,SnapShot才會占用額外的磁盤空間。38Snapshot創(chuàng)建及恢復原理39 Filer可以對一個卷組創(chuàng)建最多255個SnapShot快照。SnapShot快照可以經(jīng)過手動或者人為預先定制戰(zhàn)略的方式來自動創(chuàng)建。每一個SnapShot快照可以保管的時間取決于文件系統(tǒng)變動的頻度。SnapRestoreNetApp 的 Snapshot 技術只存儲各個延續(xù)快照之間的塊級更改,從而高效地利用了存儲空間。由于 Snapshot 過程是自動的,而且?guī)缀踉谒查g完成,因此大大提高了備份速度,簡化了備份過程。SSnapRestor

23、e 軟件經(jīng)過 Snapshot 技術實現(xiàn)即時數(shù)據(jù)恢復。相對而言,其他存儲處理方案復制一切數(shù)據(jù),因此其備份和恢復操作所需求的時間和磁盤存儲空間要多得多。40IBM Systems and Technology GroupIBM Confidential 2007 IBM CorporationN系列存儲安裝過程N系列存儲硬件安裝N系列存儲硬件安裝可以參考隨機發(fā)放的安裝手冊,安裝過程比較簡單,這里不再詳細闡明。42N系列存儲規(guī)劃安裝N系列存儲規(guī)劃非常重要,好的規(guī)劃可以最大化利用磁盤空間。N系列存儲的操作系統(tǒng)DATAONTAP是建立在磁盤上的,初始化過程中會需求占用部分磁盤空間。對于A型號,DATA

24、ONTAP會默許選擇3塊磁盤做系統(tǒng)盤創(chuàng)建root volume,3塊磁盤構(gòu)成RAID-DP。對于G型號DATAONTAP默許會選擇一塊磁盤創(chuàng)建root volume。43N系列存儲規(guī)劃N3000系列規(guī)劃建議系統(tǒng)默許會創(chuàng)建一個RAID-DP的root volume,將剩余的磁盤都參與到這個root volume中,不保管HOT SPARE盤以獲得更多的磁盤空間。N5000 A型號系統(tǒng)默許會創(chuàng)建一個RAID-DP的root volume,剩余磁盤不要參與到這個root volume中,單獨創(chuàng)建aggr。根據(jù)磁盤的數(shù)量選擇性保管HOT SPARE盤引薦操作N5000G型號劃分2個100G的LUN給一

25、個機頭用于安裝DATA ONTAP,一塊為數(shù)據(jù)盤,一塊為HOT SPARE盤,假設是兩個機頭那么劃分4個100G的,每個機頭兩個。剩余按976G進展LUN的劃分,或者將剩余的空間平均分,但是要小于976G。由于N5200G型號采用的是1000進制,1G=1000M,而我們平常的計算方式為1G=1024M,因此我們只能按1000/1024*1000=976的大小劃分LUN。44N系列存儲初始化安裝硬件安裝完成后進展設備加電,我們首先需求對存儲繼續(xù)初始化安裝。目前最常見的為N3600A10/A20和N5200A20/G20,初始化安裝的過程大致一樣,DATAONTAP系統(tǒng)是建立在存儲的磁盤上,這部

26、分會耗費一定的空間,這里以N3600初始化安裝為例。45N3600初始化安裝N系列存儲隨時機配置一個RJ45轉(zhuǎn)RS232的接頭和一根RS232串口線,我們需求將串口線和筆記本相連,串口配置為默許即可。46串口銜接參數(shù)N3600初始化安裝啟動N3600,系統(tǒng)初始化安裝開場,一下是詳細的安裝過程:.WARNING: The battery voltage is too low to hold data for 3 days during a power-out condition. 32、te_bmc, bmc, flash, bye, autoboot, go, boot, load, set, ping, arp, ifconfig, show, unsetenv, set-defaults, setenv, printenv, help這里我們直接輸入boot_ontap,系統(tǒng)會從存儲自帶的CF卡中讀取數(shù)據(jù),并開場安裝系統(tǒng)。 N5200系列在這里的提示為: Starting AUTOBOOT press any key to abort. 按恣意鍵中止啟動,與N3600有所不同,并且中止后會進入CFE菜單,而不是LOADER菜單,LOADER和CFE菜單沒有本質(zhì)區(qū)別。后繼
