Material analysis本節(jié)課建議教師用1課時(shí)上完。主要活動(dòng)為Section D 的 1a。本課是本話題的最后一課,要求學(xué)生通過本課的學(xué)習(xí) 活動(dòng),復(fù)習(xí) sothat,such that 和so that結(jié)構(gòu),了解更多與服裝相關(guān)的知識(shí)。本課通過 對(duì)1a短文的閱讀理解,在讓學(xué)生了解服裝的起源與 功能等知識(shí)的同時(shí),指導(dǎo)學(xué)生如何有效地完成任務(wù)型 閱讀。要求學(xué)生掌握黑體詞discuss,短語(yǔ) protect ,from 和 business, 諺語(yǔ) You ar

2、e what you wear. 的用法,理解白體詞 skin, materials, uniform, kimono, sportswear, easy-going, saying和function的含義。通過本課學(xué)習(xí),讓學(xué)生 了解著裝的起源、發(fā)展歷程及傳遞的信息。n . And ask them to look at the five pictures of 1a. Let them discuss what information they can get from them. (Each group needs only to di

Their reports should contain their jobs and the features of clothes. They should also explain the meanings of the new words after discussi

7、ng and looking them up by themselves. At last teacher evaluates their work and stresses the new words they mentioned. Presentation (10 minutes)The teacher lets students read the passage of 1a and check their description above.The teacher asks students to read the passage again and answer Questions 1

8、-2 of 1b.The teacher lets students tell their answers. Explain the meaning of the new word function.The teacher asks the students to read from “For example, when we see a man in auniform to “maybe he or she is lively and easy- going. ” And let them complete the sentences of Questions 3-5.The teacher
