Were meeting at seven, right? 我們七點(diǎn)見(jiàn),對(duì)嗎?1) meet相當(dāng)于漢語(yǔ)中“集合;見(jiàn)面;碰頭;聚集”。如: Lets meet at the school gate tomorrow at eight. 讓我們明天八點(diǎn)在校門口集合。2) right表示“對(duì)嗎,是吧”,用來(lái)表示對(duì)此前陳述內(nèi)容進(jìn)行確認(rèn)和核實(shí)。全句為Is that right? 口
10、語(yǔ)中常用不完整的句子表達(dá)意見(jiàn)或想法。 2. , but I may be a little late. a little意為“有點(diǎn)兒”,用來(lái)修飾形容詞。 e.g. Its a little cold tonight. 今晚有點(diǎn)冷。【拓展】a little意為“一些;少許”后跟不可數(shù)名詞。 e.g. Theres a little meat in the bowl. 碗里有點(diǎn)肉。 3. Well, he has brown hair and wears glasses. glass作“玻璃”講時(shí),是不可數(shù)名詞;作“玻璃杯”講時(shí)為可數(shù)名詞;而glasses則是“眼鏡”之意。 e.g. Glass
11、is broken easily. 玻璃很易碎。 Theres no water in your glass. 你的杯子里沒(méi)有水了。 Does she wear glasses? 她戴眼鏡嗎? 4. He isnt tall or short. 他不高也不矮。 英語(yǔ)在受到否定概念限定的部分中一般不用and, 而用or。 e.g. I dont have any brothers or sisters. 我沒(méi)有兄弟和姐妹。在以上這種用法中,or相當(dāng)于and not。試比較:Sophie never cleans or even offers to wash the dishes. =Sophie
12、 never cleans and does not even offer to wash the dishes. 索菲從不打掃房間,甚至從不主動(dòng)洗碗。Finish some exercises注意提醒、區(qū)分單復(fù)數(shù),is 與has。 他長(zhǎng)的什么樣子?_他個(gè)子很高。 _ 她長(zhǎng)的什么樣子? _ 她長(zhǎng)著長(zhǎng)的直發(fā)。 _ 他們長(zhǎng)的什么樣子?_他們中等身材。 _ 他們長(zhǎng)著直發(fā)還是卷發(fā)?_ 他們長(zhǎng)著卷發(fā)。_ 他個(gè)頭是高還是矮? _他不高也不矮。他是中等身高。 _Ss finish off the sentences and check the answers. 一、描述人物外貌的問(wèn)句。詢問(wèn)人物外貌時(shí),我們常
13、用“What + do / does + 主語(yǔ) look like?”這一句型。其中,助動(dòng)詞用do還是does取決于主語(yǔ)人稱和數(shù)的變化:當(dāng)主語(yǔ)是第三人稱單數(shù)或單數(shù)名詞時(shí),用does;當(dāng)主語(yǔ)是其他人稱或復(fù)數(shù)名詞時(shí),用do。如:What does your sister look like? 你姐姐長(zhǎng)什么樣?What do her parents look like? 她父母長(zhǎng)什么樣?【鏈接】我們可以用“What+be +主語(yǔ)like?”這一句型來(lái)詢問(wèn)某人的品質(zhì)、個(gè)性等。如:Whats her mother like? 她媽媽性格怎么樣?She is quite nice. 她相當(dāng)和善。【運(yùn)用】對(duì)
14、下列句子中的劃線部分進(jìn)行提問(wèn)。(1) The little girl has long curly hair._(2) My English teacher is friendly._二、描述人物形象的表達(dá)方式。1. 描述身高、體重等整體特征時(shí)用be動(dòng)詞。如: Our P.E. teacher is of medium height. 我們體育老師中等身高。 Shes of medium height. 她中等身材。 I am a little heavy. 我有點(diǎn)兒胖。 2. 發(fā)型、面部特征方面: Jack has curly hair. 杰克留有卷發(fā)。 My uncle has a big
15、 nose and two small eyes. 我叔叔長(zhǎng)著一個(gè)大鼻子和兩只小眼睛?!具\(yùn)用】將下列句子翻譯成英語(yǔ)。(1) 她媽媽不高也不矮。_3. 表示穿著、戴著眼鏡(帽子)用wear。 他戴著一幅眼鏡。 He _ a pair of _. 三、選擇疑問(wèn)句。用法:列舉出兩個(gè)或兩個(gè)以上可能情況讓對(duì)方選擇。答語(yǔ)不能用Yes/No,常選擇其一來(lái)回答句子結(jié)構(gòu)。Are you a Chinese girl or an American girl? 你是中國(guó)女孩還是美國(guó)女孩?Im a Chinese girl. 我是中國(guó)女孩?!具\(yùn)用】將下列句子或?qū)υ挿g成英語(yǔ)。(1)這些椅子是新的還是舊的? _(2) 你喜歡褲子還是短裙
