26、定I d like to make an appoingtment with Mr.Hammer.(我想要和 Hammer 先生約個(gè)見面時(shí)間) 原則上約定見面商談時(shí),應(yīng)事先用傳真或信函同志對(duì)方較為妥當(dāng)。如果在事先未能以書面告知時(shí),最好說清楚見面時(shí)想說的容,如 to diascuss the contract 洽談合同事宜。(2)經(jīng)由秘書安排約定Could I see Mr.Hammer sometime this week?(我們能不能在這個(gè)星期跟Hammer先生見個(gè)面?sometime this week是這個(gè)星期隨便什么時(shí)候之意。最好配合自己的日程表說清楚有空閑的時(shí)間,如 Either o

27、n Wednesday or Thursday.(星期三或星期四都可以)。(3)經(jīng)由秘書安排約定Would it be possible to see Mr.Hammer tomorrow?(明天能不能跟 Hammer 先生見個(gè)面?) 左句含有 Does Mr.Hammer have time to meet with me tomorrow? (Hammer 先 生明天有時(shí)間跟我見面嗎?),或 If he does have time,may I meet him tomorrow?( 如果 他有空,我明天能跟他見面嗎?)之意。(4)經(jīng)由秘書安排約定What time is convenie

28、nt for him?(他什么時(shí)候有空呢?) 也可以說 What time is heavailable?(他什么時(shí)候有空?),但用 convenient會(huì)給人比較客氣的感覺。如果無法照 對(duì)方的要求時(shí)間見面時(shí),就說clock我三點(diǎn)有空)來試探一下也無妨。(5)經(jīng)由秘書安排約定d like to have lunch with him tomorrow.(我想明天和他吃午飯)在歐美,商業(yè)界常舉行a lunch meeting 商業(yè)午餐。在這種聚餐中,不但容易相互溝通,也可以借此加深彼此交情,因而用餐的時(shí)間長(zhǎng)達(dá)三小時(shí)的情形也屢見不鮮。(6)直接求見本人d like to meet with you

29、 today.(如果您有時(shí)間,我想今天跟您見個(gè) 面)雖然已約好時(shí)間,可是有急事想提早見面時(shí),就可以用這句。如果沒有空閑時(shí)間就說mm really tied up today.(很抱歉,我今天真的沒空)。(7)直接求見本人Could you spare me about half an hour?(能不能給我半個(gè)小時(shí)的時(shí)間?)這句話是對(duì)熟人說的話。spare是騰出(時(shí)間),分讓(東西)之意。有時(shí)間的話說 Sure.,OK. 等;如果沒空的話說m afraid I can 悔怕不行)就可以了。(8)直接求見本人Could we get together at L.A.Restaurant?(我們能

30、不能在洛城餐廳會(huì)面?)get together是聚會(huì)、會(huì)面之意的較為隨便的說法。說明聚會(huì)地點(diǎn),如某某餐廳等時(shí),最 好指出大家共同認(rèn)識(shí)(shared knowledge)的目標(biāo)比較好。(9)直接求見本人I was wondering if we could arrange a meeting to discuss the new product.(我想,我們是不是可以安排一次會(huì)面來討論新產(chǎn)品)這句是經(jīng)由第三者介紹而尚未謀面的人在約定晤面時(shí)使用。I was wondering if.的說法含有不太拘束形式的溫和語氣。還可以用 Would it be possible to meet and dis

31、cuss the newproduct?.(10)直接求見本人m calling about what we discussed t he other day.(我打是為了前幾天我們所討論的事)這句是已見過面想再繼續(xù)時(shí)的說詞。接到的人可以答稱 ve been waiting for your call.(我一直在等您的里),并接著說 s get together. When can we meet to talk?( 我們來 聚一聚。什么時(shí)候可以見面?)(11)詢問目的What would you like to talk to me about?(你要跟我談些什么事?)也可以用 Can l ask you what you want to discuss?. 要見面之前,事先了解討論的容、 前后關(guān)系、背景(context)等有助于預(yù)作交涉前的準(zhǔn)備工作。(12)表示同意Sure.(好啊?。┖?jiǎn)短地表達(dá)肯定的方式有 Certainly.(當(dāng)然可以),Of c
