2、well as librarians and counselors on temporary appointments2WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A LECTURER IN THE CSU?3IT MEANS:To never be more than 15 seconds away from total humiliation4WHILE THIS IS TOO OFTEN TRUE WITHIN THE CSUWe are far better off than virtually all other contingent faculty.5THIS IS BECAU

6、 be paid for the entire term; if your class is cancelled before the third class session youll be paid only for the hours taught12In the CSU, some full-time temporary appointments are:Made on an unconditional basis for the duration of the appointmentBut in the CSU, most temporary appointments are mad
