(3)以上各詞與of連用(of不省略)時,可用于人稱代詞賓格(us,you,them)或指示代詞(these,those)修飾的名詞前,表示所屬關(guān)系。如:adozenofthesepeople,twodozenofthem(4)修飾語是some,many,several等表示不確定的數(shù)量詞時,則dozen,hundred等常用復(fù)數(shù)形式,且要加of.somedozensofpeopleseveralhundredsofpersons(5)severalhundreds/thousandsof中的hundreds,thousands也可改為單數(shù),其中of也可省去severalhundredofvisitorsseveralhundredvisitors
