Whenthecamerahasnotbeenusedforalongtime,confirmthatitisstillworkingproperly,particularlypriortotakingimportantpictures(suchasataweddingorwhentraveling).Contentsoftherecordingcannotbeguaranteedifrecording,playbackortransferringyourdatatoacomputer,etc.isnotpossibleduetoamalfunctionofyourcameraorrecordingmedia(SDMemoryCard),etc.

Tokeepthebatteryinoptimumcondition,avoidstoringitinafullychargedstateorinhightemperatures.
Ifthebatteryisleftinsertedandthecameraisnotusedforalongtime,thebatterywillover-dischargeandshortenthebattery’slife.
Chargingthebatteryadaybeforeuseoronthedayofuseisrecommended.
TheACplugcordprovidedwiththiscameraisdevelopedexclusivelyforthebatterychargerD-BC68P.Donotuseitwithotherdevices.
PrecautionsonCarryingandUsingYourCamera
Donotsubjectthecameratohightemperaturesorhighhumidity.Donotleavethecamerainavehicle,asthetemperaturecangetveryhigh.
Donotsubjectthecameratostrongvibrations,shocks,orpressure.Useacushiontoprotectthecamerafromvibrationsofmotorcycles,automobiles,orships.
Thetemperaturerangeforcamerauseis0°Cto40°C(32°Fto104°F).
Themonitormayappearblackathightemperatures,butwillreturntonormalatnormaltemperatures.
Themonitormayrespondmoreslowlyatlowtemperatures.Thisisduetoliquidcrystalproperties,andisnotamalfunction.
Suddentemperaturechangeswillcausecondensationontheinsideandoutsideofthecamera.Placethecamerainyourbagoraplasticbag,andremoveitaftertemperaturesofthecameraandsurroundingsareequalized.
Avoidcontactwithgarbage,mud,sand,dust,water,toxicgases,orsalt.Thesecouldcausethecameratobreakdown.Wipethecameratodryoffanyrainorwaterdrops.

Donotstorethecamerawithpreservativesorchemicals.Storageinhightemperaturesandhighhumiditycancausemoldtogrowonthecamera.Removethecamerafromitscaseandstoreitinadryandwell-ventilatedplace.
