二、課程內(nèi)容:

1、課程背景:

1)現(xiàn)在學(xué)生用的課本有著豐富而鮮活的語言素材,是一套很理想的教材,但英語文化

豐富且博大精深,從莎士比亞英語到如今網(wǎng)絡(luò)英語,英語語言隨著人們生活的變化、時

代的進(jìn)步而不斷發(fā)展,如果不能充分地利用這種時代英語資源,充分開發(fā)學(xué)生潛力,既

是浪費(fèi)資源,也是錯失教育良機(jī)。

2)新課程改革提倡國家、地方、學(xué)校三級課程,鼓勵教師進(jìn)行校本教研,提高使用教

材和開發(fā)教材的能力。

2、課程目標(biāo):

“英語美文閱讀與欣賞”課程是國家課程的校本化,旨在根據(jù)學(xué)生英語學(xué)習(xí)水平的

實(shí)際情況補(bǔ)充適量、相當(dāng)?shù)拈喿x素材,彌補(bǔ)教材的不足,擴(kuò)大學(xué)生的閱讀量和閱讀視野,

豐富學(xué)生的詞匯,使得學(xué)生更廣泛地了解英語國家的文化,在語言學(xué)習(xí)的同時,陶冶情

操,提高文學(xué)素養(yǎng)和人文素養(yǎng)。

3、課程內(nèi)容與任務(wù)

課程內(nèi)容主要涉及六個方面,即文學(xué)作品中的神話、童話及傳說,名人故事或生平

介紹,不同國家、地區(qū)的社會習(xí)俗、風(fēng)土人情,對于人生的看法、態(tài)度及理想,國家、

地區(qū)歷史及文化差異,科學(xué)與經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展。

主要任務(wù)是通過篇章閱讀,獲取信息,了解相關(guān)知識,增強(qiáng)文化意識;掌握不同題材文

章的閱讀技巧,形成相應(yīng)的閱讀策略;掌握關(guān)鍵詞、短語和句型,擴(kuò)大詞匯量,重點(diǎn)發(fā)展

學(xué)生閱讀和寫作能力。
