WhereprovisionalsumsareincludedintheBillsofQuantitiesforworkstobe

carriedoutbytheContractorwhichhavenotbeenspecifiedindetailatthetime

oftendering,thesesumsshallbedeductedfromtheContractandtheworks

carriedoutshallbemeasuredandvaluedinaccordancewiththeConditionsof

ContractandthevalueaddedtotheContractSum.

TheContractorshallberesponsibleforthewholeoftheContractWorks

includingworkscarriedoutbyNominatedSub-Contractorscontractingwith

him.AllinstructionsgivenbytheEngineertotheContractorreferringtothe

workoftheNominatedSub-ContractorsshallbeforwardedtotheNominated

Sub-Contractorswithoutdelay,andtheContractorshallensurethatthe

instructionsarecarriedoutpromptly.

GeneralAttendance

TheContractoristoprovidethefollowingservicesfreeofchargetotheNominatedSub-Contractorsandtoaffordthemallreasonablefacilitiesfortheproperexecutionoftheirworkincluding:

SpaceonsiteorinthebuildingunderconstructiontoallowtheNominatedSub-Contractorstoerecttheirownoffices,amenitiesorstores.

Useofaccessroadsonthesite.WorkingspaceforandclearaccesstotheNominatedSub-Contractors'works.

Useofsuchplant,ladders,scaffoldingorstagingasmayhavebeenprovidedorerectedbytheContractorsubjecttotheprioragreementandattheconvenienceoftheContractorandprovidedthatthereisnoobligationtoretainanysuchplant,ladders,scaffoldingorstaginglongerthanisnecessaryfortheContractor'sownuse.

Useofthetelephone,facsimilemachine,copyingmachine,messrooms,latrinesandtheusualconveniencesofabuildingsite.

Anyfencing,hoardings,etc.forsitesafetyasrequiredandincidentaltotheexecutionoftheNominatedSub-Contractworks.

WatchingoverNominatedSub-Contractors'works.

(TheContractor'sresponsibilityisgeneralandoverall.TheNominatedSub-Contractorsshallberesponsibleforensuringthattheirplant,equipment,materials,goods,etc.areproperlysecuredand/orstoredpriortotheirinstallationandhandingovertotheContractor.)

AdequatewaterandelectricalsuppliesatconvenientpositionsthroughouttheWorksunderconstructionandtoworkandstorageareaswithintheSiteforlighting,operationofpowertoolsandtestingandcommissioninguptoandincludingfinalacceptanceoftheinstallationsbytheEngineer.

ProtectingtheSub-Contractworksincludingtyphoonprotection.

(TheContractor'sresponsibilityisgeneralandoverall.TheNominatedSub-ContractorsshallberesponsiblefortheirownworksbeingproperlyprotectedbeforehandingovertotheContractor).

ProvisionofverticaltransportationfortheSub-Contractor'splant,equipment,materials,goods,etc.bymeansofexistingplantandequipmentprovidedthattheNominatedSub-ContractorsshallfollowstrictlytheContractor'sarrangementforusageofsuchfacilities.

(TheNominatedSub-Contractorsshallberesponsibleforunloading,horizontallytransportinganddistributingtheirplant,equipment,materials,goods,etc.totherequiredlocations).

Anymakinggoodoncompletionofworkdisturbedbytheremovaloftheprecedingfacilities.

FinalcleaningoftheNominatedSub-Contractor'sworksinconjunctionwiththecleaningofhisownworkpriortohandingovertheWorkstotheEmployer.

(TheNominatedSub-ContractorsshallberesponsibleforcleaningtheirownworkspriortohandingovertotheContractor).

TheContractorshallascertainfromeachNominatedSub-Contractorallparticularsrelatingtohisworkwithregardtotheorderofitsexecutionandthepositionsinwhichchases,holes,morticesetc.willberequired,beforetheworkisputinhand.NoclaimsforworkarisingoutoflackofliaisonwithNominatedSub-Contractorswillbeconsidered.

TheContractoristoinformallNominatedSub-Contractorsofthecastingofreinforcedconcrete,allowingenoughtimeforthelayingoftheircables,conduits,pipesetc.

MuchoftheNominatedSub-Contractors'workisofnecessityverycloselyintegratedwiththeMainContractWorksandclosecollaborationbetweentheContractorandNominatedSub-Contractorsisessential.

TheContractorshallattendonallNominatedSub-Contractorsandallowforcuttingorformingchases,holesandopenings,etc.ofallsizesupto1.00squaremetreinarea(formworktoedgesofopeningsinthestructureexceeding1.00squaremetreinareaasdetailedonthestructuraldrawingshavebeenmeasuredinthe"Concretor"section),allnecessaryadditionaltrimmingreinforcementaroundopenings,installingorcastinginofallembeddeditemsprovidedbytheNominatedSub-Contractors,providingandbuildinginnon-fireratedsleevesandthelike(fire-ratedsleevesandthelikeshallbeprovidedbytheNominatedSub-Contractors),fillingandsealingaroundsleeves,pipes,conduits,ducts,etc.throughopeningswithapprovedfireresistantpackingmaterialsandsealant,(packingtheinternalgapbetweenpipes,etc.,whichpassthroughthesleevesetc.themselvesshallbecarriedoutbytheNominatedSub-Contractors),supplyingcementmortarforfixingbrackets,holderbats,boltsandthelike,beddingandgroutingbehindframesincludingsupplyingcementorwaterproofcementmortar,coveringchaseswithastripofmetallathingandfixingtowall,fillingaroundandpaintingsurfacewiringexposedtoview,paintingconduitsexposedtoview,providingallnecessarysealants,jointingmaterials,metallathingetc.asrequiredattheinterfaceswiththeNominatedSub-Contractor'sworks,makinggoodallworkdisturbed,andallothernecessaryworkofalikenature.

Specialattendance

InadditiontotherelevantitemsofgeneralattendancetheContractoristoprovidethefollowingspecialattendanceontheliftinstallationundertakenbyaNominatedSub-Contractor.

Preparationofliftwellentrancestoaccommodatelandingdoorsorgatesandfillingbehinddoororgatesurroundsandundersillswithcementmortar.

Provision,maintenanceandsubsequentalteration,asrequired,andeventualremovalofscaffoldingintheliftshaftsasrequiredbytheNominatedSub-Contractor,andanyprotectionoftheworkinprogress.

Provisionoftemporarytimberprotectiveanglecoverstoliftarchitravesandtemporarytimberprotectiveliningstoliftcarinteriorsoncompletion.

Provisionoftemporarytimberprotectiverailstoallliftentranceopeningsduringconstruction.
