4、duresStep1. Warm-up Greet the whole class as usual. Revise the new words and check the previewStep2 Lead-in Brainstorming : Revise the nouns that students have learned (pencil,book,box,schoolbag ,dictionary,pen,key,map,ruler.etc) let For example:T : Class! Look at each picture that I will show you a
5、nd say the word that each picture stands for.Lets have a PK between boys and girls.2、Revise “Wheres this ? It is a/an”T: Do you know what these things are ? Look at the first one. Whats this in English? Ss: Its a pen/an orange.Then let the students ask and answer with some real objects or picters in

S1: What this in English ?S2: Its a/an .Step 3 Present the new words Teacher show the new words by using the pictures , let students work in pairs to study new words and correct the students pronunciation with pictures.T: Class, look at the new words on the screen. Can you read the words by y
7、ourselves? Whats this in English?Ss:Its a book/dresser/bed/table.etc. 1.Show a picture of a bed and a bookcase.T: Whats this? Its a bed. “BED”. Read after me. B-E-D, bed.Ss: B-E-D, bed.T: Whats this? Its a sofa. S-O-F-A, sofa.Ss: S-O-F-A, sofa. (Teach the other words bookcase /table/chair/desk/hat/h

10、ep 4 Practice the new words 1) For example: T: Class! look at the words in 1a, read them individually, then Ill call you to read. Next, call some Student to read the new words.Correct their pronunciation mistakes if they have. In the end .let the Ss match the words with the things in the picture.Dev

Let Ss listen to the tape and finish 1b. 2. Ss listen to the tape and number the things 1-4in the picture.
