最近在中國(guó),“間隔年”這個(gè)概念變得越來越流行。間隔年

的意思是在畢業(yè)以后,參加工作以前,花一年的時(shí)間休整,來一

次海外長(zhǎng)途旅行或者是經(jīng)歷一切特殊體驗(yàn)。我非常支持這個(gè)觀

點(diǎn),間隔年會(huì)對(duì)你各個(gè)方面都有好處。

Thequestforbalancedwisdomisanelusivething,much

likegoingtowardadestinationtowhichoneneverarrives.

Insteadofthismakingoneimpatient,Iencourageyouto

considerthatallnoblethingsaredifficult,costly,and

time-consuming.Furthermore,unliketheusualtripswe

takeinlife,wisdom'spathoftendivertsusfromour

consciousintention;wefindourselvesinunknownand

disorientingplaces.Thesetwoaspectsofthepursuitof

wisdomareperceivedintuitivelyasthetensionbetween

knowingthatthepathleadstogreaterconnectednessand
