ranaway.ButIwasn'treadytogiveup.

Withapersuasivetoneandgenuineenthusiasm,Ispoketomyclassmates,explainingwhyitwas

importantforustoparticipateasateam.Itoldthemthatitwasn'taboutbeingthebest,butaboutcoming

togetlierandenjoyingtheexperienceofsingingasagroup.Slowly,Istartedtoseesomestudentswere

interestedandafewofthempromisedtogiveitatry.

Ourrehearsals（排練）wereintense,filledwithlaughter,andsometimesfrustration.Wetriedour

Butrightbeforeitwasourtumtostepontothestage,Mrs.Wood,ourmusicteacher,broughtus

togetherinatightgroup.Shelookedintooureyesandsaidfirmly,“Wearenotheretoimpress;weare

heretoexpress.nHerwordsmadeallthedifference.

Withanunderstandingofthetruemeaningofourperformance,westeppedontothestage.Asthe

musicstalled,wesangfromourhearts.Wedidn'tworryaboutbeingperfectorwinningthecompetition；

wefocusedonexpressingourloveformusicandthejoyofsingingtogether.
