近年來我國基礎外語教育有了很大的發(fā)展，然而，在大力發(fā)展基礎英語教育的同時。很多教師卻不同程度地忽略了兒童心理認知的特點。綜觀我們的外語課堂教學，教師的教學理念與社會的要求還有較大的差距。在傳統(tǒng)的教學方法的影響下，教師仍占去課堂大部分時間，導致為學生成為語言知識的消極接受者。因而從更高的層面上來反思小學英語教學，真正的把小學英語活動體系應用到日常英語教學與英語活動中去就顯得尤為重要。

為了改變現(xiàn)狀，更好地貫徹教育部關(guān)于《英語課程標準》的精神，培養(yǎng)學生交際運用語言的能力，實現(xiàn)知識、技能向能力的轉(zhuǎn)化，培養(yǎng)學生在英語活動中生動活潑`積極主動地發(fā)展，我們提出了《小學英語活動的實效性研究》的課題研究。

二、理論依據(jù)和研究目標

理論依據(jù)：

活動型教學方式符合外語教學理論中的“情感過濾”假設。有利于調(diào)節(jié)兒童的情感因素。“情感過濾說”（theAffectiveFilterHypothesis）是Dulay和Burt于1977年提出的，旨在解釋情感因素如何影響外語學習的過程。情感過濾說認為，有了大量可理解語言信息的輸入并不等于學生就能學好目的語，因為外語教學的進程還受到情感因素的影響。語言輸入必須通過情感過濾才有可能變成語言的吸收，也就是說，情感因素起著促進或阻礙語言獲得的作用。對教師來說，重要的是如何總結(jié)經(jīng)驗，尋找辦法來激發(fā)學生的學習興趣，強化情感因素對他們語言習得的正面影響。符合兒童心理和生理特點的活動型教學法，可以寓教于樂，減輕心理壓力，降低情感過濾，增加兒童愉快的情感體驗，形成良好的心理傾向，激活兒童學習的興趣和動機。

研究目標：

1`在構(gòu)建小學英語活動型教學課堂教學模式的基礎上，進一步探索小學英語活動的實效性，使學生在個人或集體的語言實踐中生動活潑，積極主動的學習英語。

活動課程的主要倡導者是美國實用主義教育家J.杜威。在美國，小學英語課在培養(yǎng)學生聽`說`讀`寫技能的同時，還特別重視使兒童獲得與人交往的能力，這些能力的培養(yǎng)通過兒童自己編故事`寫詩歌`演話劇等具體的活動進行。美國小學的課外活動包括課外學習室活動`學生會活動`俱樂部活動`參觀等。其中，俱樂部活動占有最大比例，起的`作用也最大。因此，有的學校規(guī)定對學生參加俱樂部活動的情況要做累積記錄。
